Althouse tweets even less than she blogs these days, so I wouldn't blame her absence on Twitter.

Actually, I'm sorta guessing her interested in Twitter has waned ... sort like her interest in her other blogs, podcasting & vlogging waned. With the exception of the Althouse blog itself (and Flickr), Althouse can be sorta fickle with other online hobbies, or whatever you want to call them.

Did anyone ever figure out that blogging cockroach and Theo Boehm were one and the same? Just curious. And that this commenter was definitely male?

I've known for many years who this person is and, not to be morbid, he's one of the earlier commenters whom I, every now and again, Google to see if he's still living (this thread, which I just re-read since it first appeared, prompted me to do so again, and he still is; alas, that's not been the case with others of whom I keep track, every now and again). I do still miss him and other quirky commenters from earlier eras of this blog. But time passes, as it's meant to do.

Please use the comments forum to respond to the post. Don't fight with each other. Be substantive... or interesting... or funny. Comments should go up immediately... unless you're commenting on a post older than 4 days. Then you have to wait for us to moderate you through. It's also possible to get shunted into spam by the machine. We try to keep an eye on that and release the miscaught good stuff. We do delete some comments, but not for viewpoint... for bad faith.
