So common is this theme few venture backers are interested in a business plan anymore. In Magic a janky card is one with a very narrow niche, as opposed to a junk card which is just garbage. 99% of the time, the janky card is junk, but because it is unique, it has uses. Apparently, though, I've been using it wrong all these years.Matt Sablanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15885240752820005149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329595.post-80534000724498617952014-02-24T08:27:40.981-06:002014-02-24T08:27:40.981-06:001. From personal experience, I can sympathize with that.

2. re "Janky": Yes, true, and this is the motivation behind driving hard through version 1.0. It's the idea that you have to "move fast and break things" just to make sure your product is out there and can find its niche before someone else beats you to it. I admit, I'm not sure I like recklessness as a business model, and I don't think it's sustainable, but it seems to have worked out fine for some companies out there. Facebook's earliest iteration was certainly "janky", as was Twitter's, yet both of them are a large part of the landscape now.Tiborehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07360541843865827271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329595.post-88016739066304776382014-02-24T08:23:12.588-06:002014-02-24T08:23:12.588-06:00Go forth and suck, Badgers.
