"Al Franken spends his first night as 'Daily Show' host making nice with Lindsey Graham."

The Star Tribune reports.
Their fondness for each other may have robbed viewers of any meaningful debate. The two each squeezed in their differing talking points on Donald Trump, but the chat felt a lot like a photo opportunity with both holding back any serious jabs. Franken even reiterated his belief that Graham was the funniest person he had met in Washington. The extended version of their conversation, available only online, had slightly more meat, but no fireworks.

The realignment is complete.

It is the Globalist tools in DC vs. the people of the country.

There are a few people who are happy to support the various forms of Maoism they are pedaling around.

They know who they are.

Why should there be fireworks? This is better.

Nothing but sucking up to Graham.

The funniest person in DC, Sen. John Kennedy. With his interviews,I smile and giggle every single time.

DEI for the Daily Show didn’t last long. Now we have two old privileged white men yucking it up. I love how part of the show is only available to online subscribers. That’s a great business model for them.

Franken spouts leftist Clap. Trump did not shake down Zelinski.

Asking for dirt on Biden - why is that illegal?

Especially because there IS dirt on crook Biden.

Fireworks are a good thing?

This signal a return to non-manic, non-angry, and not-brain-short-circuited political interaction. You know, our routine cultural life before The Lord of the Flies era that began with the rise of social media...

Franken and Graham should drop the masks and stop the BS.

Franken. Squeezed.

I see what you did there.

Like McConnell and Schumer, Graham and Franken probably share the same "vision for the republican party".

No reason they shouldn't be yucking it up. Team Dem/GOPe/DeepState appears to be winning.

I was going to hate watch this, but I could only get through 2 minutes. A more nauseating twosome I've never seen. I'll give Francken this: he looks like a toad, and has the manners and morals of one, but at least he's sincere in his politics.

Ms. Graham, OTOH, has always been a complete fake. Like Rubin, he poses as some sort of "Social Conservative" especially during election time, but then does almost nothing to achieve it. His primary goals are (1) Pleasing his big Neo-Con Donors and (2) hamming it up on TV and getting his name/face in front of the USA public. How Miss Lindsey LOVES the spotlight. I've concluded he doesn't really care about his words, he just wants to be the center of attention..

Do we still have any terrorist dirtbags at Gitmo we need to torture? Cause I would suggest a 365/24/7 tape-loop of Al Franken and Lindsey Graham "making nice" with each other as the appropriate punishment.! They'll sing like birds!

Senatorial courtesy.

Obviously, he wasn't invited on for a debate.

Oh When they're laughin', oh when they're laughin'
The uniparty laughs at you
They'll keep on smilin', cause when they're smilin'
The uniparty smiles for you

Hint: They're on the same team.

They're both globalist assholes...

They had an agreeable, good natured discussion. Collegial is the word that springs to mind. The absence of fireworks is a feature not a bug....Some here will argue that they're both part of the deep state, but Graham scored some points for Trump. What I've never understood is how if Trump was in collusion with Putin, then why did Putin wait until Biden was in office before invading Ukraine?....Shame about Franken. He led the woke mob that demanded his resignation. Well, maybe he can land a gig on Comedy Central, but, based on this viewing, Graham has better comic timing. Better material too.

Yes. Why should there be fireworks, since Miss Lindsey actually agrees with Franken on almost everything he considers important? Foreign policy, "Free" trade, War in Ukraine, Helping the big donors, putting "the right sort" of elitists on the Federal Bench, outsourcing, open borders and amnesty, etc.

If you ignore Lindesy Graham's "Campaign Rhetoric" and look at what he cares about and spends time on in the Senate, you'll see he's not that much different Al Franken.

Graham claims to be Pro-life, but his "gang of 8" with McCain was meant to keep Pro-life Judges off the appeals court And he's constantly voted to confirm the Leftwing DoJ employees and judges Obama and Biden nominated. He was perfectly happy with Hillary getting elected in 2016. And he wanted McCain to pick Joe Lieberman as his VP in 2008.

Umm...that's the definition of a Republican Senator or Congressperson, (not that many Dems aren't also following suit).

It's a marker for how degraded and corrupt our modern society is that Al Franken still has a career. In an earlier, more enlightened age? He'd have been challenged to a duel or something, and then culled from the breeding population.

Why this man has a career, at this point? I don't know. He's profoundly unfunny, not all that bright, and he's a complete and utter poltroon. A man with not an ounce of couth, not a jot of honor; he's a man-child masquerading as an adult, wearing a clownsuit.

What really yikes me? There are still theoretically adult women out there who defend his sorry ass. Despite manifest evidence for how he behaves, how he treats other women; he's their hero, because he says nasty things about people they despise. People who would, I point out, not do things to women like Al Franken has been documented doing.

So, yeah. Sure. He's got a career. People with zero respect for themselves or others think he's great. My take? He's a perfectly symptomatic indication of our cultural self-destruction, and I have zero respect for anyone who thinks otherwise.

One would think that a wealthy United States Senator who is ALWAYS on TV would have a better dentist and/or better oral (no jokes) hygiene.

In the screen shot his teeth look atrocious.
