"Roy Moore accuser Tina Johnson lost her home Tuesday in a fire that is now under investigation by the Etowah County Arson Task Force."

"'I am devastated, just devastated,' said Johnson on Friday morning. 'We have just the clothes on our backs.'"

Lots of interesting fires these days...

I sure hope this wasn't due to politics. If so it's despicable.

I sure hope this isnt another hoax like all the hate crime hoaxes designed to gain sympathy.

If so, thats despicable.

More likely due to the cold. Many of these disastrous winter fires, particularly in the South, are caused by efforts to keep warm, either by the residents themselves using a fireplace that has not been properly cared for creosote buildup in the flue, for example, or transients holded up in a garage or cellar.

That would also fall under the "due to politics" definition, although if true the motivation would more likely be the go fund me account rather than sympathy.

The witch hunt progresses through close association.

From the article:

"That fire is still under investigation by the Etowah County Arson Task Force," said Natalie Barton, public information officer with the Etowah County Sheriff's Department. "A suspect of interest is being spoken to. But there have been no charges, to my knowledge, related to the fire at this time."

Barton later released a statement, saying, "The ongoing investigation does not lead us to believe that the fire is in any way related to Roy Moore or allegations made against him. More details will be released when warrants are obtained."

They have a suspect and they seem to be ruling out a political motive, so that means waiting until final investigation is completed.

Revenge by somebody she pissed off 40 years ago?

I lost everything I owned in a fire once. Sucked.
Granted, I was young and everything I owned would fit into my truck, but it still sucked.
All you can tell yourself is that you're lucky you didn't get burned up too.
I remember a lot of people were very kind. It was winter and they gave me warm clothes to wear and a place to stay for a little while.
The only irreplaceable thing I lost was a hunting rifle built by my grandfather and handed down to me. I still feel bad about that.

More from the article:

According to Johnson and neighbor Kevin Tallant, other neighbors witnessed a young man who had a history of public intoxication walking around the house before and during the blaze. "He's been trouble in the neighborhood for a while".

....She said a woman neighbor told her that the young man in question approached her as she was getting in her car that morning and asked if she thought Johnson's house was going to burn. The neighbor didn't know what he was talking about, she said, because flames weren't visible at the time.

Paint me skeptical. Did they find a noose or a swastika?

BTW, was Tina Johnson the yearbook one or the 14 y/o that took 35 years to remember her "assault"?

Has there been a Go Fund Me drive? Democrats owe this woman more than they can ever repay her. By the end of the week I predict that she will have enough money to live in the TrumpTower. Democrats are known for their generosity in such situations.

The yearbook and signature were no doubt lost.

Just like the Clintons' hard drives were lost the day before in a fire.

Funny how that happens

What a horrible thing for her. I will assume it's related to the very cold weather and heat generation.

This was the lady who said he grabbed her butt when she left his office in the 90's.

No way it was politically motivated.

This is mostly like related to the cold snap and efforts to keep the house warm in Alabama. However, if it is arson, it is 50% likely it was set by the owner, 40% likely it was set by an anti-Moore/Trump partisan as false-flag, and 10% it was set by a Moore/Trump supporter.

The alt-right burned down the house to hide Trump's fingerprints, man!
