The Chicago "jailhouse strip club" that's been going on for decades.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports on the shows on the rooftop of a parking garage across the street from The Metropolitan Correctional Center (a 27-story jail run by the federal Bureau of Prisons). Prisoners have narrow windows that look out on the rooftop, where they can see women who put on performances for them.
Prison authorities say they can’t do anything about what’s going on at the parking garage. An executive for the company that runs the garage says he doesn’t know anything about the nude displays...

Thaddeus “T.J.” Jimenez, a well-known Chicago gang leader who was held at the federal jail downtown, says some of the garage-top shows were for him.

In a brief interview, Jimenez says he didn’t pay for the dances. A woman stripping on the roof for him was simply “showing her love,” according to Jimenez, who says she sometimes would stand on the roof of the garage holding a sign that said “Free T.J.”

Jimenez won $25 million from the city of Chicago in 2012 in a wrongful-conviction lawsuit, then showered millions of his winnings on expanding his gang, the Sun-Times has reported....

Chicago Sun-Times, 3-28-17, "A visibly shocked judge sentenced Thaddeus “T.J.” Jimenez on Thursday to more than nine years in prison after watching a cellphone video that showed the multimillionaire-turned-gang leader stopping his Mercedes convertible and shooting a man in both legs."

Obama is no dummy, We can see why he didn't move back to Chicago. Chicago is worse than Kabul and Baghdad combined. Nice job Rahm!

That's pretty far away to be interesting.

Sometimes I love a post just for the tags:

"Chicago, crime, naked, prison"

It practically tells a story in shorthand.

I am Laslo.

Nothing I read about Chicago surprises me.

The only thing worse than criminals in Chicago, is the cops and the lawyers, and the judges, and the city government, and the unions that run them.

Other than that, it's a great place for Rag-heads, Abyssinian's, and Wetbacks.

It don't hurt to have a skinny white kid wearing a top hat and playing ring-master.

We should cede the fucking place to Canada. Hell, throw in Wisconsin too.

I don't believe you've thought this through. Step back, and re-examine.

That's simply sick. Sorry, but that's all I'm going to say.

Can you have binoculars in the cells?

Anyone named Thaddeus has to become a gangster just to survive.

Puerto Rico early 70's:

La Princesa was a prison built by the spaniards in the 1800s just outside the walls of Old San Juan. In the 1970s women used to go stand on the city wall and flash the prisoners. Never heard of actual strip tease acts.

The prison and area have been restored and are now a paseo and tourist/cultural center. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

That could be considered cruel and unusual, depending on who is hired to strip.

Huh? Made a tame joke about seeing pictures of strippers. What do you think I need to re-examine?

Taxpayer money financing gangs? Great job Chicago, Illinois!

What's not to like?

Usually our Aldermen handle these suits against the city. They are astonishingly successful. $25 million in singles goes a long way in the strip business.

Kipling once wrote a story about a Utopian world where Chicago is blasted off the face of the earth.

Sounds like he had the right idea. It's never has been part of the USA. Maybe we could give it to Canada as a present.

What the fuck are you talking about?

Not all strippers are the same.
