"Berlin truck terrorist Anis Amri has been shot dead after a gunfight with police in Milan in the early hours of this morning."

The Tunisian pulled a gun from his backpack, screamed 'Allahu Akbar' and opened fire on two officers – hitting one in the shoulder – before being shot dead after getting off a train from France."

One down. Thankfully the Muslim soldiers have not landed in the USA as many in numbers as EU Merkelland.

Obama got close to destroying us. But he ran out of time.

"World's most wanted man is dead: Rookie Italian policeman guns down fugitive Berlin killer screaming 'Allahu Akbar' after he shoots his fellow officer when they confront him in Milan"

This has to be one of the worst-written headlines ever. It sounds like the rookie cop shouted 'Allahu Akbar' after shooting his fellow officer. Then he shot the fugitive.

If Hillary Clinton had been elected President, she would have flooded the USA with uneducated, unemployable, future Democrat voters like Anis Amri.

Not that it had anything to do with Islam.

I suppose he's being mourned by at least his mother.

I'm not surprised at this outcome. If you kill a lot of people, odds are that you will die soon. God, or Allah, or whomever, will not protect you.

Some pinhead -- maybe Kerry? -- said that the assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey who was murdered in cold blood the other day was a political crime, not terrorism.

gspencer says: Not that it had anything to do with Islam.

No, they'll be looking intently for a motive and no doubt there is a 'history of mental illness'.

Two things from the WSJ account jump out: that German intelligence was too swamped to justify continued surveillance on this known suspect, and that this dude dealed coke in a Berlin park well known for such trade, and where "petty" criminals do so in the open and without interference by law enforcement. The latter is the thing that dooms the west, its indolent tolerance of vice, always a symptom of a more fatal disease beneath the surface.

Slightly OT I just saw the photos from the assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, and the shooter looks like he just stepped out of Reservoir Dogs: black suit, white shirt, thin black tie.

I see that Prince Charles has urged Britain to 'think of the Prophet Mohammed' this Christmas. I expect that he and Camilla will be converts soon. Tony Blair is right on the brink. Dhimmis all. My late husband's ashes are churning in the urn.

This has nothing to do with Islam.

A fitting end to this jihadist. May they all end the same way: Dead and harmless.

Merkel’s days are numbered but it’s coming late, after the well has already been poisoned. She has fucked up Germany and Europe – maybe for good.

Germany and Europe are a blueprint of what would happen here in America if we let a bunch of unvetted refugees inside our borders – decades(or longer) of the same terrorism as committed by this dead murderer. Unvetted Muslims are a time bomb in any Western nation.

I am trying to write the lyrics to a new song titled "Merkel the teen age Stasi Agent". It will be sung to the tune of the Warren Zevon classic "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner". Any help will be appreciated.

She has done more to bring down the West than the Stasi and Mr Wolfe did in fifty years of trying...

@dda6ga,

Merkel and her crew already have an oldie-but-goodie song for their new Islamic street marchers,

The Horst Wessel Song,

Here's the first stanza,

Flag high, ranks closed,
The S.A. marches with silent solid steps.
Comrades shot by the red front and reaction
march in spirit with us in our ranks.

This just reminds me of why I am thankful for living in the US. First, Obama and his Islamophilia are on the way out. We have turned the corner, I hope, from tolerating the types of immigrants capable of this sort of thing. And, secondly, that our immigration problem primarily involves Hispanics, who assimilate decently well and are Christian, not Muslim, whose religious tenets require that we be converted at the point of the sword, if we do not submit willingly.

Paminwi observes that it was reported a TRUCK killed people. We need to put an end to all this truck violence. Too easy to buy trucks! No background check. Hell, you don't even need a driver's license to buy a truck! It's only going to get worse with so many trucks on the street. And, all too often, on the sidewalk.

I do hope so, at least for the sake of the British Royal Family. They are an anarchism who are supported because they provide value to the country (and Commonwealth). Probably cheaper for them than an imperial US President who uses AF-1 as his personal golf cart. But still not cheap. But that won't be enough if they are seen to be actively endangering the country.

The hypocrisy here is that the future titular head of the Church of England is pushing for recognition and consideration of Islam at one of the most sacred times of year for Christians, but surely won't request the contrary of Muslims during, say, Ramadan. And, this is the religion that has been at war with Christianity for 13 centuries now, requiring that Christians either submit, or die.

When it comes to Intel, the Limey's and Frogs are better. But when it's a straight law and order issue, the German Politzei used to be very effective.

I remember after a Bader Meinhof attack in the 70's, the Germans through a roadblock across a freeway and physically searched every auto while they had a 20mm cannon on an armored car trained on each auto.

I also remember that in my day, the Politzei were very quick using batons when young foreign men (GI's) caused problems in public. How times and PC have neutered them...

When something like this happens, I just can't help instantly recalling a scene from Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451:"

The main character, Montag, after turning against his government and becoming a fugitive on the run, reaches a safe haven. He and his rescuers gather around a TV, where they watch the continuous coverage of Montag's chase. This was a good 40 years before the O.J. Simpson Bronco chase.

The government, having failed to find Montag, wanting to not only avoid embarrassment but especially to keep the masses entertained, pick a random pedestrian, identify him as Montag, close in on him and kill him. Happy ending!

I'm not saying I believe that this is what happened today. I'm saying that I'm reminded of Bradbury every time something like this happens, and I wonder.

And then it hit me. The Tunisians didn't want this guy so they fobbed him off on the Italians. When the Italians found out he was a serial criminal they fobbed him off on the Germans. After the attack they all played hot potato. I'll bet part of the deal when the Italians sprung him was he had to leave.

Also, the normalization of baby trials and babyhunts in modern liberal societies for political progress.

Showing his pretty corpse in the street is supposed to suffice.

I wonder whether the press actually ran those photos of Mussolini at the time? I know the photos exist, but I really wonder if they ran the photos in newspapers back then. My mother swears that she saw a photo of Ethel Rosenberg getting the chair: "You could see the smoke coming out of her head."

These sorts of photos have become the modern equivalent of public executions.
