How come we can indict that thing but we can't indict Hillary?

That sandwich has a bad ham to bread ratio. This is the kind of sandwich where I tear half that bread off (also might call the waitress over to ask, "where's the rest of my ham?"). LOL look at that punctuation Tank!

Ultimo-misdirection: One never needs, nor asks for, permission, even if via "tags" in cases thus, to emote.

This is done differently, Jobsly (as in Steve) you may say, as long as you pay me, and I will give Althouse 4% for the legal approval/advancement of principles.

Just to show my benevalence I will hire the Colorado guy round here specializes in IP, the dude who used to play with the dude for the soundtrack to the whole thing, and RH as an example of what people vote against overwhelmingly because of the speaking, and us not, French, indeed.

Comte my asss.

This goes for Rush too, and Ace.

I piss on the French; but adore that which is unpissed.

Hillary will not get indicted --please desist from such wishful thinking.

If she were indicted, it would mean that Obama had declared open war against her; which would mean that her allies would respond with open war against him.

Open warfare by the two most powerful Dems, giving the 2016 Presidential election to the GOP on a platter? Not. gonna. happen.

James Comey can quit or leak a harshly worded e-mail to the NYTimes, decrying the politicization of the DOJ, but it still won't result in a Hillary indictment by a sitting Dem Prez. Sorry.

Go Bernie! You are our only hope:)

The mustard makes the sandwich. Grey Poupon is good. And there's no sandwich like a Ham and cheese sandwich, like no sandwich I know.

I thank God that I am not Orthodox Jewish. Trump's super star daughter Ivanka converted to Orthodox Jewish. No ham sandwich for her.

This issue of Cosmo has a Q&A with Chelsea Clinton:

Q:Donald Trump has called your dad an abuser of women, and your mom his enabler. What do you think of his attacks on your parents?

I find what Donald Trump — and many of the Republicans, because it's not only Mr. Trump — say about Americans far more troubling than what he says about my parents. And people have been attacking my parents my whole life, so maybe I am just inured to that, but I tend to think that people who are at the forefront of progress do attract more negative attention from those who want to protect the status quo.

But what I have found surprising and really disturbing in this election cycle is the broad-based misogyny and sexism and racism and Islamophobia and jingoism and homophobia and anti-immigrant rhetoric. All of that is coming out from the Republican side. That somehow has become normalized because it's now just so common, not only [for] Mr. Trump, but for other candidates to say things that I think are so fundamentally un-American. To call into the question the right of any person who has chosen to come to our country with the intent of working hard and making a contribution and wants a chance at the American Dream, to somehow say that that person disqualifies from being here because of the country they come from, their sexual orientation, or the religion they adhere to — that's what I find far more troubling, and I find that troubling because that does seem to have become unexceptional in a really perverse way. The hate speech that has somehow become one of the main calling cards of Republicans, I find really, really troubling.

Objection. Evasive, non-responsive, horribly verbose.

The interviewer has the right subject matter, but horribly inverts the question: In response, Chelsea, of course, avoids and obfuscates.

Let me rephrase:

Regardless of Donald Trump, What is your reaction to the charge by Juanita Broderick that your father raped her, bit her on the lip, and told her to get "some ice on that"?

No, just from his emails to me. I find them creepy. I find his tactics creepy. If it is not Cruz, it will be Hillary seems to be the goal of his scorched earth strategy against fellow Republicans. Either nominate Cruz or the party burns!

He wants to be president just a hair too much for my taste.

All I know is that if Mama Cass and Karen Carpenter had shared that ham sandwich, they'd both be alive today!

Assume you meant Spanish ham instead of soanish since this looks like a classic Spanish jamon y queso baguette? If so, it's probably Serrano, which is usually good quality. Also, the cheese looks like a hard Spanish variety, maybe manchego which is really flavorful. Jamon y queso bagettes are never eaten with mustard in Spain, but maybe a little olive oil. Jamon Iberico de bellota (ham from acorn fed black Iberian pigs)is the best and is only eaten alone - it's a capital offense in Spain to put it between two pieces of bread. If you've never had it, you should give it a try. Actually melts in the mouth, but it's somewhat expensive.

As you might have noticed everyone in Spain eventually turns into a ham snob, even us expats. Sorry.

jaydub - lucky you to have Iberian ham. It's insanely expensive.

Yes. Sorry. Writing on an iPad. Hard even to see what it is. Spanish. It was great!

I am taste-impaired because I have very little sense of smell, but this was great for me, especially with the texture being firm and dry.

I'll look for that.

There was some kind of mustard on this. I would prefer without mustard and would ask for the mustard on the side next time.

Very nice menu. They do indicate it's Jamon Iberico from Samalanaca Northeast of Madrid. From some of the spellings (e.g., the Basque pintxo for the Spanish pincho,) this cafe must specialize in Basque preparations, the seafood ones probably from San Sebastian. San Sebastian is famous for pintxos, and the local custom is to bar hop as each bar has its own pintxo specialties, which are usually consumed with copious quantities of Txakoli wine. The wife and I were up there in October. Fabulous city, very friendly people.
