Red tails. Are they maples or early oaks?

We just got home from seeing Denzel Washington's new movie, "The Equalizer."

It was boring and very murderous, but I guess we needed something to relax. As far as Lee Childs and David Baldacci heroes go, Denzel one upped them with this super trained killer man show.

Crack would like it. It's a handsome black guy spending two hours executing some bad white guys all the way down. And you know they are bad white guys somewhere under all their tattoos because they are arrogant and because they are rich politically connected Russians. The worst one has a British James Bond persona. Not even Slavic Russians, but White Russians with their Russian girls that are red headed/blondes.

I should not buy that Miata.

Green's hue fades because chloro's had its phyll of summer.

Red means the sap is ripe for tapping.

Soon, only the hardiest and longest lasting of the colors -- yellow carotene -- will remain before the leaves start piling again.

It's even getting a little cool here in the morning and evening. I did like living in New Hampshire but everybody goes to Florida in February.

Those reds look like Sugar Maples, but awfully dang tall.
