"Wow, is it cold out. The deer must think the same thing, as I haven't seen a thing."

Scott Walker goes deer hunting.

ADDED: Walker on Fox News, more or less running for President:

ALSO: From Walker's book "Unintimidated":
We soon began to get a steady stream of death threats. Most of these Dave and his team intercepted, and kept from Tonette and me. They were often graphic (one threatened to “gut her like a deer”) but for the most part they amounted to little more than angry venting.
But one afternoon, as I prepared to go out to the conference room for my daily press briefing, Dave came into my office and shut the door. “Sir, I don’t show you most of these, but I thought you ought to see this one.” He handed me a letter addressed to Tonette that had been picked up by a police officer at the Executive Residence in Maple Bluff. It read:
HI TONETTE, Has Wisconsin ever had a governor assassinated? Scotts heading that way. Or maybe one of your sons getting killed would hurt him more. I want him to feel the pain. I already follow them when they went to school in Wauwatosa, so it won’t be too hard to find them in Mad. Town. Big change from that house by [BLANK] Ave. to what you got now. Just let him know that it’s not right to [EXPLETIVE] over all those people. Or maybe I could find one of the Tarantinos [Tonette’s parents] back here. Lots of choices for me.

This fellow Wauwatosan did get a deer. The guv needs to go where the deer are.

Does he? (... need to go where the deer are...)

Isn't it smarter to go hunting -- showing those who hunt that he's like them -- but not to actually kill anything -- to avoid alienating the non-hunting animal lovers out there?

I'm sure there's a political focus group somewhere studying this.

Sadly, that's likely.

My suggestion to Governor Walker is first get re-elected governor then consider running for president.

Hunting and fishing don't appear to be Walker's strong suits.

Kinda like how hunting and fishing are your strong suit but politics isn't. ;)

The deer are in my front yard.

Kathleen Falk's strong suit is hunting and fishing.

Mary Burke already has her limit.

Nothing appears to be Scott Walker's strong suit. If all hell broke loose and we needed ONE man to lead us out of the darkness and INTO the light, would it EVER be Scott Walker? or it would it be that Knight in Shining Armor Barack Hussein Obama????

I like Walker's steadfast focus on 2014. Smart people have been saying that for a while now. Forget about or postpone the 2016 love fests with Christie.

Why do you need a messiah or hold up a messiah template as your measure of a leader?

Cue stories about corruption in his campaign and governance by politically motivated "journalists" working with democratic political operatives masquerading as state justice officials in 3... 2...

He had sex in college, obviously not qualified. Koch Bros, Tea Party, War on Women. The list goes on, plus he didn't create jobs. Oh and the imminent indictment. Worst of all, Garage doesn't like him.

Apparently, in garages universe, the more you kill the more qualified you are for public office.
Wasn't some nervous nellie whining here about a year ago about how Gov. Walker was going to privatize deer hunting in Wisc?
Hows that goin'?

Scott Walker sounds very reasonable. I like him. Chris Christie, by contrast, often comes across as a blowhard.

Correct. He is much better at busting worthless unions.

At this point, Walker is running for Vice-President.

Christie just racked up +60% in his NJ re-election. Walker will need the same performance to get serious attention in the 2016 early primaries, which are in a pretty good order for him.

I don't know - there's an awful lot of southern states that vote pretty early in the primaries. I think the rank-and-file would lean more towards Walker than Christie, both in terms of policy and geographical bias.
