no

It's my fault. Whenever I watch the Badgers, no matter the sport, they lose.

They will win one. Bo rarely does better in March than expected, usually worse.

There's always hope, which springs eternal, or at least that's what I've always heard.

Maybe next year.

Final score: Badgers 46, Ole Miss 57

Short answer to your question: Nope

No. They are shooting around 25%. They deserve to lose. I long for the basketball of yesteryear, where talented seniors battled.

Now we have scrubs who play mauling defense and can't shoot a lick.

Oh wait ... did you mean hockey? Starts in about 30 minutes and I give THAT team better odds.

At least now the players can get back to their term papers in quantum mechanics.

Circumstances, at this particular point in time, being favorable, I feel compelled to out myself.

No, no, no, not as gay, but as a Rebel fan.

Hotty Toddy, Badger boys. And girls.

So, in other words, a bunch of violent, socially degenerate, anti-sportsmanship, fake students who took the places of real students are playing a kids game so the university can get free money so the university prez can go to Hawaii on vacation--and we're supposed to care?

Call me when Al Queda hits one of these events. Then I'll start cheering.

I had them going to the final four in one bracket. Fortunately, I have another one that is more promising.

The Big Ten (mas or menos a few teams these days) was suppose to be the toughest national conference, while the SEC was supposedly having a collective down year. Wha' hoppen?

At this point, "Badgers Upset in First Round" should be a sportswriter's macro.

Too much faith in Bo. Not a bad coach in the regular season, fair to average in the tourney.

Marshall Henderson caused more devastation in the state of Wisconsin than saturated fat.

Bracket broken.

Having your team dribble around and then shoot a contested three is not good coaching.

Bo Ryan may lull teams to sleep in the regular season, but that doesn't work in the NCAA.

Sam Dekker is the only good player on that team and Ryan doesn't play him much because he is a freshman.

6 of 21 Marshall Henderson? That guy? Wasn't very impressed, but obviously the Badgers were even worse.

Thank you. Good night, everybody!

Huh? They usually underperform at this time of year.

(Says the man with no brackets :) )

A lot of bad basketball in this tournament.

Make players, er, students stay for three years just to improve the quality of the game.

Wisconsin was never a FInal Four quality team.

That requires at least one really talented player.

Too many honkys.

They'll always have the 2013 Rose Bowl win against Stanford.

Oops.

My bad.

Every year at least one 12 seed beats a 5 seed. BOOM!

Also?

S!E!C! S!E!C! S!E!C! S!E!C!

And finally, Florida Gulf Coast just beat up on Georgetown, so tomorrow not many people are going to be paying attention to Wisconsin's troubles.

Duke won so I'm happy. Matt-Y-like Hipsters hate Duke because its black players aren't black enough for them.

Yeah, its weird.

rcocean said...

Is there anything more pathetic and weird** than a White man calling a black man "Uncle Tom" ?

** Unless it Bill Maher trying to be manly and sexy.

avwh said...

Lucky for the Badgers, Georgetown did a much bigger faceplant the same day. Nobody ever heard of FGCU before today, either.

rcocean said...

Hopefully Duke and Gonzaga will meet in the final.

rcocean said...

Georgetown never recovered from John Thompson. His brand of basketball was more ugly than Whoopi Goldberg's love child with Bill Maher.

rcocean said...

Matt Y loves Georgetown basketball, except John Thompson III isn't quite black enough.
