At Obama's Milwaukee rally, Katy Perry sang "Let's Stay Together" and then ripped off her dress...

... to reveal a tighter, shorter dress that Obama's slogan/Wisconsin's motto "Forward" written on it in big letters. That was Milwaukee. Monday Obama comes to Madison, but we get Springsteen, not Perry.

Good choice for an opening act, but how big of a crowd does he get without Katy Perry?

As for bad opening acts, do college kids today even know or care who Bruce Springsteen is? Or is Bruce being brought in to get all those lefty state workers out of their offices before they all retire at age 55?

She could rip off her dress to reveal just her lady parts and it wouldn't help, Mitt will carry WI.

Barry Dauphin said...

What will Bruce rip off, other than half of his fans?

Hooray! Mitt wins the contest of the bubble-headed celebrity endorsers.

Mitt Romney And Kid Rock Outdraw Katy Perry And President Obama

Here's Katy Perry being groped by three men who look like they could be Mitt Romney's sons.

Another young woman prostituting herself for Obama. I don't think they're considering the narrow swing vote.

IF WI GOES to Obama, then Romney loses.

The only way for Romney to win: WI, FL, VA, and OH (or PA). This is according to Nate. He is NEVER WRONG.

I am going to be crying if WI goes to Obama.

Please vote early in WI. PLEASE. Get this in the bank.

It's a shame the "O" isn't over just a little bit more.

It sounds like going on a free trip as long as you agree to listen to a time-share sales pitch.

Free admission to a Katy Perry concert so long as you agree to listen to a sales pitch for Barack Obama.

Well, pseudo-stripping is always good politics.

As The Baseball Crank has written, Katy Perry is Zooey Deschanel without the class and talent, but with big boobs. Katy probably wouldn't make the trade with Zooey.

Katy should take the advise of the title of Laura Ingram's book about the Katy Perry's of this world: "Shut Up and Sing: How Elites From Hollywood,Politics and the UN Are Subverting America"

I think early voting in WI ended 5:00 PM Friday the past.

If Obama has to work hard to take Wisconsin then the election is over.

As was pointed out here last week: just how bad does Barry's campaign think things are going when he shows up in Milwaukee and Madison, two cities that are dead-nuts-on locks for him to win?

It's things like this that give me hope for change.

"Forward" is a rather polite description of Katy Perry, I think.

Look at this! The Wisconsin State Journal has endorsed Mitt Romney!

It's the end of the world as we know it.

Both candidates are in states where you wouldn't expect them to be. A good sign for Romney and a bad one for Barry.

The beginning for many of us. Yeah, Wisconsin isn't in play at all . . .

Althouse, that's a few times you've posted disapprovingly about young, innocent-seeming, white women eluding to sex while supporting Obama.

What is your point in these posts? It seems prude at best, race-tinged at worst.

The unserious tone of the Obama campaign - in these times - is chillingly evident.

Meatloaf, or Katy Perry

The choice is yours, America.

They prefer Meatloaf. o_O

Kelly said...

Garage, as I stated in my other post, I didn't go to a Romney rally to see entertainers. In fact, I didn't even know who the entertainers were going to be. There was meatloaf, the guy from Alabama, some country guy and some rocker guy I didn't know.

I don't know why entertainment has been dragged into the Presidential campaigns. I think people would come out to see the candidates regardless.

Kelly said...

Oh yes, because Romney is just soooo uncool!! Like, all he can get is Meatloaf!! Gosh, when has a republican candidate ever not gotten the old geezer crowd who's career is already over? Lets ask Stacey Dash how it's working out for her.

Here is a rather interesting rendition of America the Beautiful from Meatloaf.

Really losing it.

The reason why Obama is doing his last rally of the campaign has become clear.

It's the only way he can assure a big crowd.

He wants the optics of a large, adoring crowd for TV on the final night and election day. Mostly he's not getting that kind of turnout.

Fear. The sucker's afraid.

A pop singer who's name wouldn't even be remembered 5 years from now .... She's had what, 2 albums with average sells...and few years from will be considered a has been................which is something else she has common with Obama besides a likening for the word FOWARD.

Darrell said...

Obama is fired.
They should hire Donald Trump to deliver the final results just to rub it in.

David, they've been running scared all year.

PS What Darrell said.

And if the Peacock wanted to fire up its ratings, put it in prime time.

I love that idea. IF Romney wins....

(All too many conservatives were absolutely convinced that McCain and right wing Goddess Palin would pull it off in the end - when anyone with a brain vs. a Goldwater heart knew the Republicans were toast after two Neocon disasters and Bush having the whole US economy melt down around his "Churchillian" ears. )

But IF Romney wins....
Wouldn't it be fun to not only have Trump announce Obama was fired, but given 3 minutes to explain why the affirmative action apprentice was being fired for cause??

My only comment is that's the best looking Obama bumper sticker I've seen so far. Most of the time when I see that logo I throw up a little in my mouth.

Not this time.

Darrell said...

The best bumper sticker I've seen?

OK, you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you weren't a racist. Now vote for Romney in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot.

Let us hope this will be Mr. Obama's next song:

You are my sunshine my only sunshine you make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know dear how much I love you please don't take my sunshine away
The other night dear as I laid sleeping I dreamed I held you by my side
When I awoke dear I was mistaken and I hung my head and cry
You are my sunshine...
You told me once dear you really loved me and no one else could come between
But now you've left me and you love another and you have shatered all my dreams
You are my sunshine...
I'll always love you and make you happy if you will only say the same
But if you leave me to love another you'll regret it all some day
You are my sunshine...
Please don't take my sunshine away.

At this time of the year, the entertainment industry's tilt towards the Democrats topples over into full immersion. It's like an endless infomercial that comes at you from everywhere. Late night comics, articles in Esquire, television series.....I like Springsteen's music and will continue to listen, but, my goodness, Springsteen now is the kind of guy who travels by private jet instead of motorcycle and doesn't know diddly about life as it is lived by his fans.

Not just Bruce....rumor has it that Mr. Zimmerman will also make an appearance on the President's stage.

Katy Perry's current status as hotness personified is a mystery to me. I see that she's got a good body and all that, but she's so aggressively dorky otherwise, I just can't take her seriously as a sex symbol. Not ugly, just not hotness personified. It's like watching the class treasurer play pop star. I have to remind myself that, no, people are accepting her en masse as a goddess - everyone from my niece, to her ex - even the veterans from Heart were praising her. It's not ironic.

I have a 16 year old daughter who is a born again christian. I'm not the kind of parent to not let my child listen to secular music. No I don't always love the lyrics, and if I hear a song that I feel is to explicit, I will make her change the station. I heard most of Katy's songs, and admit some are very catchy. But the more I learn about Katy the more I wish my kid would not listen to her music. I'm so sick of these Hollywood types that claim to be christians, only to act everyway but christian. She talks about growing up in a very strict home, with parents who are christians. The whole Perry clan reminds me of the Simpson clan. If they are saved, they are really back sliden. I know it seems like I'm judging them, but if you are not going to walk the walk, then don't talk the talk. Hollywood christians just make the world think that all christians will turn away form the teachings of the bible if given enough fame or money or power. The bible says be hot or cold, or he will spew you out of his mouth. Well Katy, live the life or quit claiming to be saved. You are just confusing teenage christians with your message of be a christian, but live life like you're not. I don't know what form of religion you practice, but if they told you, you can fornicate, and stand up for women who abort their children, or champaigning for a president who believes these ways, or sing about making out with another woman, I don't think I've heard of them. I guess it helps that when you turned away, so did your whole family, which probably makes you feel your doing the right things. But like I said if you're going to live a full out sinful life, quit bringing God into your ungodly way of living. Yes I know I shouldn't judge you, but when my daughter looks up to you because you say you're saved, I'll call you out everytime.
