What goes on in McCain/Obama's brain? "Be aggressive, be-ee aggressive."

What goes on in McCain's brain... What goes on in Obama's brain? That's gonna be Obama's brain tonight, don't you think?

"Be aggressive, be-ee aggressive."

I think it'll more likely be "I am the King! This infidel is unworthy to share the stage with me!". Thus leading to the same result as last time.

He may be thinking "Don't fuck up."

If he is thinking that, he will.

Problem is, McCain actually had something to say.

Zero just had, "Hopenchange".

Well, I for one hope he goes the vicious route with a vengeance. Drive the final nails in his coffin, that will.

Obama is going to try to go on the attack, but I don't think he will try (or even has the capacity) to pull off Biden's combination of overbearing bluster and mildly nauseating smarminess. He'll have stick to his usual uhhh and uhm routine, which will be tedious as ever.

Here's what went on in Biden's Brain:

Input: Be agressive ----> Biden's Brain ----> Output: Be obnoxious

I know how Democrats felt in the first debate. That is how I felt watching McCain - Obama debate. I shouted at my TV..."hey McCain, get off the stage and let me go up there. I will do 100 times better than you. Why didn't you say......"

Obama has a series of pre-planned items to say. Very little winging it. The issue will be how well he does it without a teleprompter.

I could watch that video a hundred times and still laugh.

It never gets old. Rate my bunny rabbit impression...

It's a drag to have to memorize stuff, though. Isn't there a dam around here somewhere?

I'm guessing it's the hilarious race stuff that you find irresistible.

Good news, ma'am. After 4 years of the prez being off-limits, there'll be lots of these effortless, brainless bits churned out during the Romney administration.

MadisonMan said...

I think it's instructive that no similar things have been made during this race.

It's as if the creative left is all worn out.

It not as easy when the parody aim is to defend power.

Madison Man: There was that songifying of the first debate, which was sort of politically neutral.

Matt Sablan said...

Oh. And the bad lip reading of it.

MadisonMan said...

The bad lip reading, though, is also politically neutral, isn't it? I've only seen one of them, and they are very nicely done.

jungatheart said...

I just tried to find one my daughter showed me. It synced footage of Obama and Romney saying exactly the same phrases. It was well done.

I haven't seen the 2012 Jib Jab either, but I always got the feeling they were kind of soft on Bush, even if they didn't like him, they were at least warm towards him as a person.

Obama is thinking, "Yeah, what am I going to do in my second term?"

O is supposed to be aggressive?

The only time this beta-male coward is aggressive is when he is 100% surrounded by likeminded folk who won't challenge him. and usually the aggressiveniss is tainted by petulance.

When there is actualy heavy lifting to be done, usually a more experienced (relative term) and competent (VERY relative term) drone will do the job. see carney, axlerod et al.

and yeah, that vid is pretty funny

Oh, Lord. Now I'll have that damn cheer running through my brain all the livelong day. Worse--if history is any judge--sooner or later it'll morph into an earworm of "Saturday Night" (the Bay City Rollers version, God help me).

Yikes! I'm doomed for the day. Gee, thanks, Althouse. ; )

how about shouting "hey wait a minute bozo" every time Romney switches his position.

Most of those McCain's Brain things were at least a little bit funny.

I don't have a good enough connection here to watch video to check if I'm remembering very well, though.

I believe tonight's debate is supposed to be about foreign policy..

If the Bengazy screw up is as big as it is supposed to be... Obama being aggressive is very risky... The Obama I know is risk averse... The Obama I know plays it safe.

When the perception is that you screwed up and you become aggressive it could come off as arrogant...

The poll trend is that Romney is surging... so everything is aligned to put the focus on Obama... remember how Althouse just said how her impression of Obama looking down differed from a lot of peoples?... Tonight Obama cannot afford a mixed signal.

When a catcher is expecting a curve and the pitcher throws a fastball there is usually a conference afterwards.

The audience is going to be expecting something and it is up to Obama to know what that is.

I dont know if people are expecting Obama to man up to Benghazi.. The expectations for Obamas presidency have been very low imo... thus far... why should Benghazi changed that?

The presidential thing would be to man up.. but it usually takes Obama a long time to take responsibility for things.

Chances are, in Obamas brain, Benghazi is still in the gestation period...

Something to look for tonight...

Will Obama abort the Benghazi baby?

Or maybe Obama will just play knockout king like all the big city dudes these days.

Prop him up with some stimulant drugs, prep him with some one-liners and short speeches, add a friendly moderator, and -- success??

Seeing that video, I can't believe that Democrats thought that Biden's mugging for the camera was a good idea in his debate.

Shirley, the Democrats think Obama won that debate despite the laughing and looks of disbelief from McCain, right?

Yeah, the JibJab guys took off Election 2012 to work on their funny e-card business. Priorities.
