2 new ideas about why Barack Obama didn't come to Wisconsin to campaign for Tom Barrett.

From Tobin Harshaw:
The first is that Barrett in recent weeks has attacked Walker for becoming a "rock star" in the national conservative movement, and may have felt that bringing in his own party's rock star would have undermined that effort.

The second, and more likely, is that Barrett made his criticisms of Walker's job-creation record -- not collective-bargaining rights -- the focal point of the race. Given Friday's May jobs report that showed national unemployment on the rise and the fewest jobs added in a year, perhaps the "efficacy" of a presidential visit really was called into question.

Obama a rock star?

Maybe like the rock stars depicted in the second half of "This is Spinal Tap"... Do you think he has tiny little Greek columns for his next appearance?

Yes, the effing efficacy. Also, it would have been self-effacing for Obama to have shown.

I can see the second one being a little difficult for Little Zero.

OTOH, he seems to have no trouble making up stats as he goes along, so why should the number of jobs stop him?

Bill Clinton to CNBC: the US economy is in a recession and Congress should extend all the tax cuts due to expire at the end of the year.

Obozo pre-empted again!

Maybe he has figured out that getting involved in Wisconsin politics is like getting involved in a land war in Asia.

Another new theory: Well Obama lives in washington, DC where the National league Nats play baseball and the NFC Redskins play football.

And what other state has National League and NFL teams that always beat up beat up on Obama's teams?

This is like Occam's razor, or at least it is like ESPN's talk shows.

Seriously, the jerks from ChiTown just don't like being around Cheeseheads acting like adults now.

Students maybe OK ,since they are impressed with glamourous smiles and don't yet understand how bad of a disaster Continually Lying Obama has created until they graduate and look for a job.

I thought Obama talked about tax cuts/credits the other day?

Obama Economic Plan: Go Buy A Thingamajig

Maybe somebody'll be replacing some... uhm... thingamajig for their... furnace! They been putting that off, but if they got that extra money... they might just go out there and buy that thing... right?"

Can't understand the inane laughter of the crowd, though.

I hope every republican in Wisconsin votes today. You will need it to overcome the busloads reportedly coming in from Minnesota & Michigan to cast illegal votes for Barrett.

Who was that fellow that came to Milwaukee to give a little stump speech?

It will be nice when 20 January 2013 rolls around, IF enough of the idiots comprising the 53% who voted for the least experienced man ever nominated by a major political office for president, learn from their mistake, and we don't have to read about, or hear about, Barack Obama except for on rare occasions.

Please, let it be so.

Here's the main reason why Obama didn't campaign... Okay, you ready for it? Here it goes:

Everyone that Obama has campaigned for since 2008 has lost. Up to and including the US Olympic Committee. That is a major reason why Obama has no friends in DC, since the Dems now believe that an Obama campaign visit would kill their chances. Don't believe me? When have you seen Obama campaign for anyone in the last few months, deep into an election cycle?

Third, Barack's a pussy.

(I have decided to refer to the President as Barack from now on. I am following Tom Barrett's gracious example.)

Should Tom somehow prevail, I will follow your lead at the national level.

Isn't another theory simply that he was assured it was "in the bag"?

I think it's because he knows that fraud of massive proportions is planned and he doesn't want to get the stink on him.
