"To sit out here in public and philosophize … is really not the best use of our time."

Said one Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice.

"I think it’s vitally important that the public be able to see what we do and how we do it... This would be a major mistake, to close what has been open," said the other.

ADDED: Here's another photograph of a sticker on the lamppost in the previous post:

That is a depiction of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser. Why show him as a female? Some lefty is confused. Trying to denounce Prosser, he has unwittingly expressed the opinion that to be female is to be debased and inferior.

Will Wisconsin Court now will lose its USN&WR #1 ranking for recreational bouts of fist beatings and chokings.

The public wants to watch!

And it's the Public's Court!

Looks like Shirley went down in flames.

It's just ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS! (I'd bet on par with approving the purchase of toilet paper for the building's johns.)

And, in another clue. Over at our Supreme Court (in DC), there are Monday's that are reserved for conference. In go all the 9 justices. No one else is present. And, they vote on the cases they will hear.

How secret? No one but the nine go in. And, the doors are closed. Who serves the coffee? The last judge seated. Today, that's Kagan.

The proponents of closing the doors want to schedule the work so as not to choke the calendar..

Lets not be judge mental people.

This is not an open tread tradguy.. you are supposed to philosophize.

You are out of order Alex.

Seriously, does Prosser also have to face recall at his one year anniversary?

Bad idea.

Is this lefty confused? I thought the idea that being female is debasing and inferior was the cornerstone of leftist (particularly feminist) ideology. I mean to stay at home and take care of the kids is debasing and inferior to any correct thinking lefty. This is also why women as a group are a protected class: because they are inferior. Also, women who act like bitches proudly proclaim that they are just "acting like men". But why would a woman want to act like a man if acting like a women wasn't inferior to acting like a man?

No, Ann, it is you who is confused about what lefties think of women.

lol, unwitting. That was a delibarate poster that took time to create. This wasn't unwitting, this is just what leftards do. Leftism as an ideology breeds the dumbest people on earth while they think they are been deep, meaningful, pithy, and intellectual and instead come off as being smug, snarky, and stupid.

Why would you ever think some lefty doesn't believe "that to be female is to be debased and inferior."

Wasn't Clinton's reaction to Jaunita Broddrick, Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, and Monica Lewinski, or Obama's campaign against Hillary! or Sarah Palin enough, finally, to convince everyone that females only have value as a Democrat voting bloc?

Or how about Rachel Maddow using the word "vaginal" 58 times over nine different broadcasts?

What, exactly, would it take to understand the left believes "to be female is to be debased and inferior"?

Except for votes, of course. Those count as much as anyone else's.

Proves the lefty is either a sexist, or a homophobe.

Good points Tim.

Also it was the left that coined the term Bimbo Eruptions.

C'mon Althouse.

They are taking gender features and using them as power tools for building anti-Walker relationships.

I assume that AA's use of "he" to describe the person that placed the poster is a generic "he", as it very well could have been a "she".

When a woman is mocked as a man, say, she is called "Butch" I don't take it as an insult to all male-kind.

Is this one of those differences between the sexes?

If someone mocked my wife like that, I would take it as insulting. But as a man, I don't want to be called a woman and I would imagine, women don't want to be called men.

The insult isn't that there is something wrong with men or women. Odd that you see it that way.

Today i'm standing up for idiot leftists, tomorrow the world will end.

The feminists are confused, not the lefty.

You don't expect principles from a woman judge. Prosser is governed by feelings and grudges, like a woman.

To resist the idea is feminist, and there is still that resisting to be accounted for. Feminists are so emotional.

A guy is likes rules, which, the message is, Prosser fails to do.

I don't assume that the person making the insult is a misogynist (knowing or unknowing). In the same way leftists insult rightists by calling them all sorts of homosexual slurs -- because they feel their target will be more enraged by it.

It's an example of how narrow the world view of the insulter that they go to what they feel their target will be insulted by.

Now, granted, it plays into gender bias (same as when people try and insult people by calling them gay as an insult), but I think it is more that the person just doesn't understand the consequence of their action than a knowing attempt to debase women.

Now, when they do things like call a woman "Not a real woman," that's different.
