Excellent photo with interesting reflection via the mirror. This is interesting photo. Now, one worry I have for mobile devices now in light of the "Weinergate" is that if one misplaces/loses an iphone, then one is likely to get into trouble. Someone can use the device to tweet or facebook a bad photo, and you are a toast! Why no one is talking about security and privacy issues relating to mobile cameras and social media is a mystery? The GOP campaign starts and finishes now! The new economy report implies that by spring 2012, the economy will pick up and Obama/Biden will be a shoo-in till Jan. 2017.
Let me guess, this was your second favorite car.I can see you riding in the back, Meade at the wheel, waving in stately fashion to your throngs of admirers.PS Looks like AP is drinking the same stuff as J. I thought we'd already had Recovery Summer.Does this mean we have to recover from Recovery Summer?
"Let me guess, this was your second favorite car."Ha. No. I'll have my second favorite maybe this evening or tomorrow. It's kind of a similar car.
Similar to my favorite, I mean. To the Austin-Healey.
This is just horrible!Although I have almost been run over several times visiting England and Australia. We instictively look the wrong way.
Nice picture. Nice car.Your sight is fun for the eyes, too.
Love the cars. The Austin-Healy is adorable. We're lucky to have the <a href="http://volocars.com>Volo Antique Auto Museum</a> about 4 miles away. Some of those are even for sale. For some reason I keep getting emails from random domains telling me I should be in the Madison Who's Who. I was in Madison years ago for Halloween staying at my then boyfriend's brother's house for the night and then again in February when the Capitol was under siege. Otherwise I've been through on my way to Minneapolis or House on the Rock. I have no idea why I keep getting these emails.wv: nesidesc
After 2 1/2 days of looking, cops finally find a gun in dead man's car. Because the smart-phone that recorded them shooting the man dead in the first place is the same smart-phone they thought they had destroyed at gunpoint - but which lived to see another day. Now they're in deep shit. So deep that they continue "searching" the dead man's car for even more incriminating evidence, which we fully expect to eventually include boxes of bullets, a stash of drugs, and the partial remains of Caylee Anthony. I read this as... distort, exaggerate, minimize, and deflect. Is this post a Weiner joke?
Interesting to favor the parabolic back of the mirror over the actual mirrored surface. I like it when you lug around the Nikon. [What to get Althouse for a gift: anything with a curved reflective surface.]
I really like your shots of that curbside car show. They're technically excellent (the color saturation is first rate) and I like your composition as well.My first digital SLR was a D50, and I still use it from time to time. I'm certainly glad I didn't spend my limited cash on a D1 a few years before, the D50 is even more capable and much more affordable. (Isn't the digital age a bitch?)I looked through your gallery and was impressed throughout. I particularly liked the photo of that Austin-Healey 100 BN1 roadster. Sweet. BTW that color is unique to AH and is called "California Green."wv: sisha -- Sisha toljah Obama was a putz, but didjah listen?
That Austin-Healey reminded me of a wealthy fraternity brother who brought one to school in 1963. That car was way more impressive than he was.
The famous Healy brothers:Austin, Nash, Jensen and J. Cletus
