"You were my heart throb"/"What am I now, chopped liver?... It must have been 'Barbarella', right?"/And he typed out "yes."

When Jane Fonda met Stephen Hawking.

I took his hand and carefully uncurled the fingers one by one, wanting to see how they felt and looked…soft, pale, safe.

Safe? Well, that's just weird.

I wonder if Jane Fonda is aware how revealing her blog really is?

I doubt it.

The idea that she could reveal anything less than brilliance has never occurred to her.

After about 5 minutes, letters and then words began to slowly appear on the screen: “Get… this… woman…” Ah haaa!! Moises and I looked at each other in delight, certain that our hypothesis was about to be proven—sure that Stephen was about to say something like, “Get this woman a Tony for her brilliant performance…” We waited for the sentence to be finished, another few minutes…and then, there it was: “Get this woman the fuck off'a me!!!” and a computerized voice said it aloud so everyone heard.

I’d been told he had a playful sense of humor. He had just demonstrated it! And we all had a good laugh.

Oh, that Jane! She's such a deep person! She was able to see that Hawking is a thinking man and she is so surprised!!

"Silly woman" is an EXACT description/characterization of that brain-dead, traitorous useful idiot and fellow traveler bitch-lady.

I would have guessed Klute.

Jeeez beating on Jane Fonda?

So she is impressed with a gimp. Big deal.

Let's talk about wheelchair fiance guy and American Idol. You know something that is relevant in this century.

Surprised she could blog at all.

ricpic said...

It's Not Fair!

Yes, you are chopped liver, Jane.
No more do all eyes turn...
That aging gimp retained his brain.
It's you that time now spurns.

I liked her while she was in Atlanta. She was nice to folks here. She is not perfect, but I cannot remember meeting anyone who is perfect.

chickelit said...

This story has very interesting parallels.

ricpic said...

Me! I'm perfect!!...now how'd I lose the car keys this time?

I'll bet if Mubarak told Jane how much he loved Barbarella, she'd call him Dildonno!

Sometimes this blog is like a dartboard with the Professor tacking up new pictures to take shots at.

virgil xenophon said...

Traditionalguy you disappoint me. Al Capone gave Thanksgiving turkeys to poor widows to hype his PR image, but that didn't absolve him of his crimes. I was one of those guys over Hanoi being shot at by her loving gunners. Forgive that treasonous bitch? Did you know that on one occasion (before the POWs knew what she was all about) when she was introduced to a show & tell line of POWs to demonstrate their well treatment that when each pressed a slip of paper into her hand when their name,/rank/serial# when each shook hands w. her thinking she would take it back to the US authorities to prove their existence, she turned them over to the N. Vietnamese in front of their faces. After she left ALL got a severe beating for their "effrontery" resulting in the death of four (4) of their number.

Please don't tell me or ANY USAF, Navy or Marine pilot who flew over N. Vietnam (let alone the POWs) about how "nice" a lady she is. SOME things are UTTERLY UNFORGIVABLE!

I can't believe I got suckered into reading Jane Fonda Traitor Commie Bitch's website.

Ann - I'm a newcomer to your site, but if I may dare to make a request, could you provide some warning that clicking on a link might actually take me to a site that in any way provides validation or compensation to the likes of a Jane Fonda? Having clicked said link and lain eyes on said site, I've been forced to scrub my hard drive with disinfectant and can no longer look a Viet Nam vet in the eyes. Thanks.

Yes, Jane, you are now chopped liver. Chopped liver that has gone rancid, as a matter of fact.

It happens to all of us when we get (gasp) old.

Tyrone Slothrop said...

Oh. For me it was Cat Ballou. She was ripe, and I was pubescent. I never have been able to get as pissed at her as I should be, remembering the times she and I had together.

I happened to be in Okinawa in July, 1972 for a few days when Jane Fonda passed through on her way to Hanoi, and her infamous “Hanoi Jane” rendezvous with the anti-aircraft gun. Her minions put together a gathering for service members offbase in Naha for the purpose of encouraging them to join the antiwar effort and to basically desert the military. I had no such interest, but I went anyway mainly for the experience of it. It was a relatively small group, about 30 people altogether, so it was pretty much an upclose thing. In person she was a very attractive woman (horndogs that we were) and very passionate and sincere about her beliefs. A skosh too militant though, and what bothered me most was that she didn’t seem at all concerned with the personal repercussions that would befall those who followed her recommended path. But, nevertheless, after that experience I’ve never had it in my heart to hate on Jane Fonda, regardless of what she thereafter did and said. I question her intelligence, her connection with the real world as the rest of us live in it, and her judgment. But that’s about it.

I really respect virgil xenophon and I want to thank him for his service. He is an real American Hero.

But the Jane Fonda of Barbarella was a hot piece of ass.

So if a certified genius once to rub one out with his soft, pale, safe clutching spasmed fingers....who am I to say him nay?

Just sayn'

Trooper York said...

Now if he was rubbing one out to Jeanine Garafolo....well then we need to smother him with a pillow.

I mean I know she is a commie traitor bitch but still you gotta say that is nice!

I understand Virgil Xenophon's view and many folks I know share it, but I have been Down Town also, the scary way, in the pit of an F-4C, and I just don't have strong feelings against her, today.  Took a while.  But, bitterness now would hurt me, not her.

And, she tried to apologize.  Not perfect, but still, much more than some, like that couple down in Chicago or the people that killed Robert Fassnacht.

Thanks for this, Professor.  I linked to it.  Because of Hawking, not Fonda.

Regards  —  Cliff

virgil xenophon said...

Sorrry Krieger, I was an F-4C driver too, but she hasn't really truly apologized insofar as I know. And being misguided is no excuse. She was our age, remember? Would society be cutting us any slack today if we had deserted and received dishonorable discharges? WE were expected to use good judgment at her age, were we not? i.e., not drop ordnance out of the tgt area, obey all ROEs, etc., why should SHE be absolved of the consequences of exercising bad judgment at her age any more than we would have been? Yes, I don't lie awake at night obsessing over her; life moves on, but that STILL doesn't mean that the general public shouldn't be reminded of what truly vile things she did every time she or her supporters on the left tries/try to rehab her image.

(I and guys like me were trusted enough as 24-26 yr-old Capts to have the judgment to sit on nuclear bombs on Victor alert over in Europe in USAFE. If we had screwed up I hardly think the excuse of "youthful ignorance/exuberance " would have been accepted (and it wasn't)

I believe I speak for many veterans when I say that I hope Jane lives long enough to film a Depends commercial....Her greatest role previously was that of a neurotic, high priced whore. She really nailed that role, but I think she has something to say for Depends.

PS: I might also add that INTENT looms large here in the case of Fondas actions. The reason that Lord Haw Haw was sentenced to hang at Nuremberg and Tokyo Rose was not was that the German did so willingly (like Fonda) while there was much evidence that Tokyo Rose (an American citizen) was detained while visiting relatives at the out-break of hostilities and performed under duress.

"You were my heart throb"

Easy for him to say, since she wasn't betraying his country.

Fuck her and all stands for.

@Mudge: Hold your cursor over the link and you'll see where it's going to take you. Most browsers show that info in the lower left portion of the screen. No cause to be surprised.

Yes, in Barbarella, Fonda was an exceptionally hot piece of ass. I would have gone through a wall or two to get at her. Later, though, she not only lost her looks, but most of her brains.

I interviewed her in 71-72 for a magazine article and she really was clueless.

WV: WTF?? barbuni

“What am I now, chopped liver?”

Jane Fonda channeling Jackie Mason.

Safe? Well, that's just weird

Clenched or curled hands, according to body language, can serve as indicators of tension, anger and hostility. Fingers tightened and locked in a claw position denote rigidity, something physically off, or out of the ordinary.

If a person were reading a new situation with all senses engaged, then finding hands that appear hostile or unusual to be safe through tactile verification, may seem weird but makes sense as doing so would calm and negate an automatic fight/flight response activated through body language. Even though her brain knew he was physically limited in his ability to cause harm, her eyes may have picked up conflicting signals that needed to be processed.

I found Fonda's rendition of this encounter curious and intriguing and appreciated the pictures of Hawking as well as the humanity and humor revealed in their exchange.

Fonda's 73, she should now just shut up and fade away. Wasn't her last pathetic bid for attention saying the C-word on Broadcast TV?

You need to remember her Mom was mentally ill and committed suicide. Its probably why she's a borderline loony.

The Crack Emcee said...

My sister called, right after my earlier comment, and she said she met Fonda "back in the day". Called her "strange". Said she was with Donald Sutherland and acted very prissy.

When I related virgil xenophon's comments, she said she didn't know about that and called her "crazy", saying she's lucky she's still alive.

It's so cool to talk with her again. She makes me feel whole.

Fuck that. First rule for guys is Don't stick it in the crazy. I don't even want to pretend. I despise commies. I don't know why people in the US give commies a pass. Nazis, sure, and regular fascists too, that's inarguably evil, but commies are treated like misguided children. Fuck that noise. Ask anyone from a country that suffered under communism or was menaced by it. Commies deserve a kick to the nutsack as badly as any fascist.
