Dogs are the new babies.

Better hope they're spayed or neutered--otherwise there could be some unintended union activity.

And we know which one of the three is the most adorable.

Shame on them for victimizing those dogs. Next thing, they'll be dragging schoolchildren to these exercises in mob rule.

Sherlock thinks you have excellent taste, mum.

"Don't tread on me" is a funny sign to put on a tiny dog.

The "dogs for worker's rights" sign is kind of banal, but bonus points for the Corgi.

Aw, that little one at the bottom was just afraid of getting stepped on.

Watched the evening news, and it would appear the MSM have not yet quite got the word on what the narrative should be for the events in Madison, WI over the last two days.

Very noticeably they have carefully avoided or edited out the kind of signs the Professor and Meade have taken note of, even Fox.

How many of those signs were made from classroom materials?

That snake dog is adorable.

See, a dog like the snake dog is a total babe-magnet.

I love the haircut on the Yorkie. Cuter when they're cut short.

Who was the talk show guy on O'Reilly? Wow "We don't have a spending problem, we have a revenue problem" Very compelling arguement in favor of going bankrupt.

At least this thread is not a complete embarrassment to Wisconsin.

Your state is screwed up, Althouse, and not in a particularly charming way.

No question now, Wisconsin is going to the dogs.

A Corgi would never support a union. A Border Collie is not a communist.

WV: galcoc - well, there is another word for that...

You can tell it's a`Democrat's dog because it's hiding under their neighbor's porch.

Dogs are not allowed on Capitol Grounds.

...and again, no school tomorrow.

Sigh.

Fred4Pres said...

Dogs will be put down in the end times.

And eaten.

Hot Dog!

Cancel school. Fire the teachers. Hire replacements.

Oscar Mayer!

(that was a reply to Fred's 8:53, not his 8:54)

The email we got from the school about the cancelled day tomorrow included a note from the Superintendent. He's sounding less patient.

The Corgi looks embarassed to be wearing that sign. That's because Corgi's are awesome. Also, they believe in working not just lounging around.

Don't tread on me was clever.

I've been away from the computer for a while. Have the drug-addled Dem scumbags returned to Madison yet, or are they all still on the short bus to nowhere?

I love dogs. These are all fine looking dogs.

Speaking of politically active dogs, Janeane Garofalo has a new TV series where she plays an FBI agent.

I think she is the one roachy calls on other blog commenters.

Trooper York said...

Hey Beth I thought you only liked wieners?

Trooper York said...

I mean wiener dogs.

Sorry.

EnigmatiCore said...

"He's sounding less patient"

You would think that, working with kids, he'd be used to tantrums and immature behavior.

Lincolntf said...

Just took a second look.
My pair of cats would tear those "peace dogs" some new assholes, no doubt.

Frickin' kibble-monkeys.

Trooper York said...

I would think a Phd would realize that keeping kids out of school for three days to ask for a raise is enough to piss off all the people who can't go to their jobs because they have to watch their kids.

Where do these bozo's get off.

FIRE THEIR ASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trooper York said...

Bullshit Lincolntf.

Cats are Hitler!

Let me tell you all something about that Corgi.

An off-camera interview revealed that the Corgi was in fact not a union activist at all but, it turns out, supports right-to-work laws and open-shop workplaces all because of a single bad experience back in 2008. It seems he had worked in a closed shop union dairy as a cow herder - a very fulfilling job - but sadly he was repeatedly kicked and ultimately forced out by union thugs for having the temerity to "work too hard" and "too long" and, well, for failing to pay his union dues.

His owner, whose blue jeans you see in that photo, is a Marxist vegan Teaching Assistant who last summer dognapped the Corgi as he was trying to walk, on his own four paws, to Wyoming. He got only as far as western Iowa.

Look at that face. Enough to make a grown man cry.

And yes, if one night I hear a scratching on the door of Meadhouse, and I look out and it's him... well, we're keeping him.

Mark Daniels said...

Do you think that the presence of these canines indicates that the demonstrators are dogmatic?

Dude you can't say that! You might open the door and find Titus lying there!

It's a jinx man.

Meade said...

Troop,
I'll be sure to keep the Fabulous Light off.

If we are forced to go "Gato a Perro", I trust that my kitties are more than up to the task.

Be forewarned, both Bella and Monkey are keeping a sharp eye on all of you. If it comes down to it, they will eat your faces at my command.

Note to Corgi: Since when do TAs fashion themselves as "workers"?

Love this!

Good question, Irene.

Corgis, of course, can fairly be identified as "workers" as they actually produce, you know, wealth.

TAs are not. Well, at least not in the Marxian sense of the word "worker."
