I had a friend at work that did a good many shots like that of Cleveland's party district.

We always called it the Skid Row Series.

No impugning your work, Madame. Nicely done.

It just brought back a memory of better times.

Whither goest thou, America, in thy shiny car in the night?

This is the night, what it does to you. I had nothing to offer anybody but my own confusion.

Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets. I go all over. I take people to the Bronx, Brooklyn, I take 'em to Harlem. I don't care. Don't make no difference to me.

Bristol and Mark hit a home run tonight. The whole Palin family seems determined to win at everything they do. I guess that keeps them off of the street. The libs must be crouching in their foxholes awaiting the next PR barrage out of this Palin or that Palin. So far the score is about 300 to 3 in Palins' Favor, with the three scores against them being made by GOP hacks Going Rove.

Bristol, bless her heart, can't dance. It was a train wreck. If she wins, it's only because of who her mother is.

Don't be silly. We all win because of who are mothers are.

She's OK. No deterioration of her situation, whether the cells are bad is still unclear. I guess no news is still good.

Thank you much for asking.

No real dog in this one, never saw the show and no desire to do so, but I thought the idea was to pair celebs with professional dancers and have the pros teach them some steps. Supposedly, it's not the best dancer, but the most improved.

PS I can't believe the hysteria among the Lefties on this one (death threats? Yeah, that's them). They kick and scream, but can't summon enough phone calls to get the poor girl voted off the island, or whatever? The Conservatives, Libertarians, Republicans, and Tea Partiers should be so organized as to cause this. And the Lefties must be a lot weaker than anybody thought.

Maybe people just like and sympathize with her.

I know...

Crazy idea.

Meade,

I don't think I've ever heard you make a comment like that, regarding men, in all the time I've known of you. It's always "women this and women that". Women also go crazy and kill their kids - just as a consequence of having them - where does that fit into your female-worshipping cosmology?

Or must you blank out the total reality of the other sex to keep that illusion going?

Don't get me wrong:

Blanking out reality seems to work for some.

The Crack Emcee said...

edutcher,

Please don't take my previous comments wrong, I'm trying to make a point. I, too, hope the blonde is well.

The Lefties must be a lot weaker than anybody thought.

Of course they are - they've been exploiting the power we gave them. Why we gave it to them is what I wonder about. That includes feminism:

Sure, let's give power to a bunch of angry bitches determined to grind us and our sons into dust.

The brilliance of that plan is mind-boggling.

And how it's played out was too predictable.

The to-do over the TSA seems to have some interesting under- or over-tones to it. It isn't just the scans. There has to be some kind of a turning point, or something, when SNL goes with a skit that comes off as a hidden attack on the Obama Administration in general; not just the TSA over-reach.

Crack...Good morning. Today is travel day for us to Amelia Island... trying not to forget any things we will need for a week. This is our first Thanksgiving out of town. We can make that up to the extended family at Christmas. I was thinking about your disappointment with women. The inevitable fact is that mothers are supremely important to our species that takes 16+ years of safety to develop its young. Mothers do that work, and do it well unless they are damaged people themselves that are running away from the dangers of life. But running in male/female pairs is still the best plan. The Mayflower guys were all in their 20s and came here seeking a safe place to worship God. They got dumped in a wilderness in winter with nothing but rations for a few month and themselves. That is probably why pairs of fathers and mothers raising sons and daughters became a real necessity. But they still could not make it to rain on their crops needed to live which were dying in the fields of drought the next July. They declared a day of fasting and prayer...and then to the wonder of the Indians it started a gentle soaking rain that watered the corn but did not blow it down like a July Thunder storm usually would do. That lead to the harvest celebration feast days to thank God for sparing their lives and for one another. The rest is history.

"Now what happens?"

At least someone is paying attention. "This will get out of hand..."

I notice one of Drudge's headlines says that the SoKo's are denying that they requested the U.S. move up their tac nukes. An interesting thing to even have anyone thinking about, but apparently someone is (if only a reporter). This might ease back, or it could end up very badly. We are on a precipice at this moment.

T.W.: "predica" Now that's just creepy.

"Cleveland's party district..."

I'm amused that this is perceived as a big city intersection. It's actually a pretty small town: Fitchburg.

MadisonMan said...

Yes, the Maple Grove Dr sign kinda gives it away that it's Fitchburg.

I was up way too late last night reading Gang of One. I blame my fatigue, therefore, on Pogo for recommending the book to -- ah, I forget who now, but I got it out of the library. Very un-put-downable.

(So thank you for the recommendation!)

Tg,

Good morning. [smile]

Until I see real evidence it's recognized that men - and not just any men but a particular breed of us - who put their lives on the line for women to do anything, I'll think this nation is destined for the wastebasket. I give thanks for what we've got every day - not just Thanksgiving - and my patriotism (something else most women and their supporters knock) is my expression of that. I don't like engaging in the Who's a racist? game because it separates us as citizens - something else the so-called "smart set" doesn't think or care about.

If the Pilgrims were here, now, my atheism would probably have to be explained to them ("Sorry, guys, there is no God") but my Puritanism would be easily recognizable to them. It's the rest of these people who they would have the hardest time understanding - and rightfully so.

Happy Thanksgiving, Tg, and eat an extra plate for me.

Crack,

I love women but never worship them. And that includes my own lovely daughter, beautiful wife, and adorable mother. My "female-worshipping cosmology" is your illusion, not mine, oh brother of the commentary-sphere.

Maybe I should've commented: We're all winners because of who are mothers aren't. That is, aren't murderers... of us.

But the grimness in that expression would've probably eclipsed whatever small amount of comic irony I was aiming for in my humble little wisecrack.

Hey! WiseCRACK! Get it?

LOL!

Yea, I get it. Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.
