- What happens to his twitter (cnn) account? He is posting/tweeting on it (still). Who owns it?
- Will there be something like NAACP in support of him?
- Will the Daily Show and Colbert Report make fun of him? Will he be invited?
- WashPost fired David Wiegel (Izra friend, Journ"o"list) and then rehired? Will CNN do something like that?
N.B.: I could not stand this guy. I could never understand how he got so much time on air. His sometimes opposition to President Obama was distasteful.
There's little doubt having the last name Sanchez was a contributor to his getting a job at CNN. There's also little doubt its the kind of thing that impedes the prgress of well qualified hispanics, ones that should be evaluated without regard to genetics.
Sanchez was at least interesting, because he would quite often nail both sides' BS. He needed to learn this lesson that one does not shoot the Boss's sacred cows and remain employed. Rush can only do it because he won't fire himself for his over the top criticisms. Doesn't CNN have a new management?
I almost feel sorry for the guy. He is such a meathead. It's clear to me he was an embarrassment to CNN even before his final gaffe, and they were happy to let him go. The only conceivable landing spot for him is MSNBC, but they won't have him because he can't stick to the Dem talking points.

Gone the next day, and in a messier fashion than Sanchez's offended bosses did.
That said, Sanchez was a tool. If you ever flipped channels and checked out "Rick's List" - you had to marvel that a teleprompter-reading moron could get a national show.
GMay calls Sanchez a "lefty" just as Ed Morrissey posts a YouTube clip of Sanchez lambasting the administration for supposedly pushing progressive values.
Clearly it was a criminal conspiracy that C-Fud thinks led Jews to success, and not hard work, a desire in bettering those around them and an interest in professions that can make a positive difference in the world.
In C-Fud's mind, the possession of culture and civilization is a crime punishable by demagoguery.
I only watched him in a channel surfing way. He was more famous for his gaffes than for his acuity. He was definitely a liberal. It is the peculiar conceit of liberals to think that they are incapable of bigotry...It's interesting to note that on the liberal sites everyone thinks his next move will be to Fox, and here they think he's a perfect fit for MSNBC.
The only conceivable landing spot for him is MSNBC, but they won't have him because he can't stick to the Dem talking points.
I hate to quote myself, but this is the only reference to MSNBC in the thread so far, and it hardly makes the case that Sanchez is "perfect" for that network.
He just thought the Hispanic victim card covered everything. After all, that's why he got hired. If his name had been Sanders, he'd still be in Florida.
I share Charles Johnson of LGF's opinion on this - certainly, Sanchez deserves to be gone. But Erick Erickson of RedState fame is still drawing a paycheck from CNN?

Doesn't my human gating gun/Chris Matthews comment count?
Sanchez would make a great weather person...he could cross dress , get a blonde wig and a boob job done. In that job being mostly wrong would be no big deal. He would just spout off about horrendus weather everywhere.

By any standard he's an idiot.

"He’ll be remembered as a uniter, bringing left and right together in shared amazement at his lunkheadedness."
The same may eventually be said of Barack Hussein Obama.
His one mistake was that he let on about the Jewish Cabal controlling CNN - AND THE WORLD!!!! Bwah hah hah!
BS? As my WV says, sphti. Rick was responsible for more manure than an entire herd of Guernseys. Good riddance.

*Intentional invocation of Godwin's Law*
Funny how lefties always say Hitler and the Fascists belong to the right when lefty journalists are the ones going on about those dirty joooooos!
My favorite Sanchez comment/question was "Isn't it too cold in Iceland for a volcano?" CNN's teleprompter was apparently on loan to POTUS for the day.
But hey, at least he could spell potato.

Killing a guy while driving under the influence: No problem.
Implying that Jews control the media: Firing offense.

Fascinating.

Here is the Daily Show clip of Sanchez as an Uninformant. Is there a website with all Sanchez clips by Stewart and Colbert? This would be a laugh.
Look at Sanchez. He has nothing to add: He says: What does that mean? What is this or that in English?
I mean the guy is intellectually challenged.
So, unbelieveable that he was on TV.

I share AP's mystification about how a person who sometimes opposed Obama managed to get airtime on CNN.
Even the human gatling gun, Chris Matthews has criticized the Bamster.
Occasional criticism doesn't override the constant cheerleading or leg tingling.
Damn it:
I went for "cloddish clowns" because I couldn't remember "lunkheads".
I'm so ashamed.

Charles Johnson is a fraud. Claims to be intelligent but isn't. Claimed to be a conservative but wasn't. Claims to be biker - but isn't.
He's simply too fat to be serious biker. I think all those "biking photos" are taken from a car.
Still and all he is not as big a douche bag as Mark Sanchez.
geez, for a moment i thought you were talking about Barrack Obama.
This guy should have been fired for being a buffoon long ago.

Too-shay, salesman. That does qualify as an indirect reference to MSNBC, Doesn't qualify as claiming Sanchez would be a "perfect fit" there

Right, hedge funds have really improved the lives of all those unemployed blue collar types in Pennsylvania who cling to their religion and guns.
Do hedge fund people buy new cars? New houses? Go out for dinner?
Gee, I wonder who supplies all these goods and services? Surely it can't be all those blue collar types.
Gee, I wonder who supplies all these goods and services? Surely it can't be all those blue collar types.
Why not? As far as I can tell they do most of the world's real work.
Gene ....my sarcasm escaped you.
