"You will be better off looking for the future."

I see that in that last poll, I wrote, as the third option: "you will be better off looking for the future and not dwelling on the past." Looking for the future. I meant to the future. Or at least at. Looking for the future? Where's my future?

It's like what Marlene Dietrich said to Orson Welles in "Touch of Evil":

It's what Beatrix Kiddo said to Elle Driver at 4:27 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONhkbVqDMgw

And it's what Buffy said to Angelus prior to the climactic fight at the end of Becoming, Part 2, but I can't find a clip of that. (also beomes a sword fight)

With your adorable husband, of course.

(Do I have to explain everything?)

That could be confusing, since she's the Professor.

Falling in love again,
Never wanted to,
Don't know what to do,
Can't help it

Someone should print this out as a sign at the NAACP and hang it over the door way.

Yea, yea - "don't stop thinking about tomorrow" - the message from Fleetwood Mac:

The kings of we-fucked-up-and-are-all-divorced bands.

Instead of people encouraging us to run from our mistakes - and obliterating the memory of those who love us - when will we start listening to folks encouraging us to actually deal with what we've done and be better?

Greatest single camera opening shot movie. Along with a dark and pulsating Henry Mancini soundtrack.

Kind of reminds me of Obama. You know, One and done, he has no future beyond this term.

One one future is all used up, then what do you have left? You only have this life to live. Fortunately, if it doesn't kill you, then you can at least try to dust off and try it again. Otherwise, just go off into the woods or something and never be seen again.

Here we are in the year 2010.

And we still ASSUME a future for humanity?

Gotta love all the optimists.
