These must be tall men. Over 5'8". The ones who think they run the world. The ones others hope to be on screen.Who really cares about the composition of the frame. Hell. Just bring on the little ones.Generally, those who think they run the world, don't.[Sarcastic enough?]
Oh yes you are! And God love you for it.I'll do what I can to help. ;-)
Heavy sarcasm is a woman's trope. She uses it to symbolize her isolation, at the cost of never figuring out what is wrong herself.
Even if true, is that a bug or a feature?
rhhardin said... Heavy sarcasm is a woman's trope.yeah, what he said. Women love sarcasm
Both genders are good at it. They all are, however, toxic people to be avoided as soon as a polite moment arises to dump them. Their talent today is to make their accusing comments with a big smile on the face in an effort to confuse the listener as to why he is getting angry and depressed from being in the same room with them
Heavy sarcasm Paging Dimsdale.
I've seen some nice looking women out in public with tropes.cf. Joe Jackson
Dunno - though in my opinion if you're a real male you don't make "douchey" comments. Though I must say the Wright and that other pale twit don't seem to qualify as "males". Douchbags perhaps.I'd rather be called a prick than a douche. At least a prick has a position...
Regarding women and sexual politics, I tend to ascribe to Roissy in DC. I like his take on "alpha" males vs. "beta" males. It all comes down to politics, dunnit?
rhhardin said... Heavy sarcasm is a woman's trope. No, they usually go right for the throat.WV "fatuar" How one woman tells another she's a trifle plump.
Douchbags are handy for bleeding brakes.
I never use sarcasm, snark, nor douchery - all my comments are thinly veiled cries for help or pleas for a gentle crumb of insight from the elite stratosphere I can only imagine seeing from my lowly station under the bridge.
Men generate a disproportionate number of the sarcastic, douchey comments made for public consumption. (Consider Harry Reid.) In other words, men usually make such comments to someone, either in front of a microphone or face to face.Women are more likely to make such comments about someone else, when they are out of earshot.Which style do you prefer?
"Douchbags are handy for bleeding brakes." Oh crap! When dad said: "Get a douchbag to bleed the brakes." I called my brother. But that is a great tip.
Iron my shirt!
Males...So do dogs, geese, and cattle make enough contributions to sarcastic comments that we include them too?
Yeah, so fucking what. Maybe these two little faux men can learn something. Fucking pussies.
I love you guys.Bob Wright is a weenie.Badly in need of The Macho Response.
Not since the emergence of feminism, which has always seemed to operate on the assumption that men have it better than women and therefore to act more like a man, even outdo them, will improve the condition of the female sex. wv: euslat - the opposite of a slut?
During the filming of "The Whales of August" someone said to Lillian Gish, then in her 90s, "Miss Gish, you take a lovely close-up". Co-star Bette Davis (nearly 80 herself) said, "Of course she takes a lovely close-up. The bitch invented close-ups."Is that an example of a woman making a sarcastic, douchey comment?
Women might be more likely to moderate their behavior in mixed company than men do so that men don't hear the sarcastic, douchey comments made by women as often as they hear the ones made by men.Or maybe the men in question are dismissive of what women say.Because the statement is so different from the world I live in that I wonder what planet this guy lives on. Verbal warfare, sarcasm and snark is a female thing.
Female snark depends upon culture. You have no idea how nasty "Bless her heart" and "oh, how precious" can be.Finally got around to watching the diavlog. Most boring to date.
