Life is also almost unbearably beautiful.

Thanks again for the bloggy daily reminder.

The last warmth to go is the warmth in the grass,
Which soon will be leached of all color, alas.

Ah, the Arboretum.
The top is the spring flowing into Lake Wingra, no? You blogged a photo of the same view in late summer?

And the bottom one-gorgeous-just don't tell anybody about the Beltline behind that bank of trees in the background.

This is a very un-Novembery November. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks.

Winter this way cometh.

I thought the Red Chinese owned Technicolor. Now I know where the A-Team has been the last few years.

Very pretty, and such a spectrum.

You have a wonderful eye, Ann.

Remind me never to go leafpeeping in WI.

In addition to, of course, NE, there's also peeping in West Texas; this search, although when I was there I didn't do that but went up top instead.

Taking one last look before bed,
I scrolled down to find
these three
unexpectedly bringing
such color, balance and beauty
to my table
I actually audibly sighed

Thank you.

Remind me never to go leafpeeping in WI.

Fine, but others will want to do it around the second or third week of October.

I was surprised last night by the physical sense of relief and comfort I experienced when I discovered these three pictures.

Something about them drew an exhalation of "Ahhhhhh" out of me. They confirmed order, goodness and beauty in a language I understood, conveying a message I needed to hear.

I continue to be amazed at the power of individual perception and expression to touch others lives for good or ill.
