The ghost of Michael Jackson.

Here's the video everyone's talking about:

Elvis-y, no?

For added eeriness, there is a Michael Jackson song "Ghost." Video here.

ADDED: Presumably, Neverland will become a tourist attraction, and Michael Jackson's ghost will be part of the allure.

Well the shadow really does seem to obviously be lit from a regular person walking by a light. But the rushing wind noise and the repeated viewpoint seems like evidence of a haunting.
The visage of Larry King also adds to the spooky factor.

Like I said before: Casper had better watch out.

MJ was heard singing, over and over again:

"I'm Henry the eighth I am
Henry the eighth I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an Henry (Henry)
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (no Sam)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry
Henry the eighth I am

H-E-N-R-Y
Henry (Henry)
Henry (Henry)
Henry the eighth I am, I am
Henry the eighth I am
"

Casper is no longer the whitest ghost. Honestly, though, that was creepy with a capital C. I would have thought a shadow from a window or light source in the other room, but if you watch closely, the darker areas where the legs would be seem to be closer than the far wall.

Boo!

I DON'T KNOW!
If the 'shadow' had been moon-walking, then yes, it would be creepy!

Someone walked by the outside window. The sun cast their shadow on the wall.

@MadisonMan

That's exactly what they want you to think! Wake up Sheeple!

Wait...isn't this the conspiracy theory thread?

Weak. As all this kind of stuff is.

People are fools.

It is possible that the 'someone' walking past the window was the ZOMBIE OF MICHAEL JACKSON. He was looking for brains, but alas, he was at Neverland and couldn't find any.

I love this stuff. It's so ridiculous but fascinating to me.

And lol, Jason.

If true, I feel sorry for Los Olivos. If only MJ had lived a few miles over in Solvang, this would be fine.

Where's Sir Archy with the inside scoop?

To Professor Althouse.

Dear Madam,

As the Ghost of a Gentleman dead these 260 Years and more, I should say that the publick Appearance of Mr. Jackson's Ghost, so soon after his Death, would not surprize any experienc'd Spectre.  'Tis well-known that Ghosts commonly haunt the Scenes of their former Lives; and, that the more Pleasure or Pain such Places recall, the more likely the Spirit is to be attach'd to its former corporeal Existence, shewing Reluctance by such Degrees to depart this Earthly Plane.  The especial Unwillingness of those who had found either great Happiness or Misery upon their own Estates to depart them is such a Commonplace, that stories of Ghosts inhabiting great Houses have grown tædious in the extream.

Additionally, the Spirit is often unwilling to abandon what the Body hath done; so, Ghosts are often found to continue the habitual Employments of their former Selves. Thus, you may see the Ghosts of dead Soldiers guarding yet an old Encampment; or, a murther'd Butter-Seller wand'ring the Streets of Leaden-Hill Market, continuing to vend her ætherial Victuals.  Most Ghosts are shy and very  unwilling to shew themselves, surpriz'd as they may be by their new & unfamiliar Situation, and wishing only Retirement.  The more forward sorts of Persons, such as Actors, Politicians, &c., are wont to continue to make a Display of themselves post mortem, shocking to more sensitive Spirits, who would be utterly ruin'd by such scandalous Exposure.  Thus, I expect Mr. Jackson to continue to prance & Moonwalk thru' the Halls of his Estate for an Æternity. Whether such a Situation be Heaven, Hell, or the Catholick Purgatorio, I cannot say, except that, as Mr. Jackson had built his House, so are we all Architects of Fate.

For my own Part, I was of a Sanguine enough Nature to attempt an ectoplasmick Haunting shortly after my own sudden & very vexatious Death. I was walking in the Strand one Day in June, in the Year 1747, in the midst of Business, full of seeming Strength & Ardour, when, feeling the Effects of an Apopletick Stroke, I fell into Mr. Cruikshank's familiar Shop, dying nearly in his Arms. Cruickshank's cunning Jade of a Daughter, with her Father's Approbation, then reliev'd my Corpse of Seven Guineas and my Gold Watch before a Constable or a Physician could be summon'd. I felt so betray'd, that I resolv'd to drive him from his Trade; and, so haunted his Door for the next Twelvemonth and more, blowing my cold Breath upon all those who enter'd. His Custom thus driv'n away, he was soon a Bankrupt, having learnt 'tis always bad Policy to annoy the Dead.

Since then, I have confin'd my Hauntings to the Astral Plane and such Regions of pure Thought as may be harmless, wishing only to teach those Gentlemen whose Brains I visit, something profitable of my own Age. In this Vein, Madam, I pray I may be allow'd to continue to visit your Theatre of Topicks (as I call it), assuring you that as I am harmless, I am also,

Madam,

Your humble & obt. Servant,

Sir Archy

I'm so glad we live in an enlightened age where capitalization usually only happens at the beginnings of sentences and proper nouns.

That being said, I was wondering if the preceding ghost might comment on his contemporaries and their use of the phrase, "a well-regulated militia".

Kylos said...

Scott, unless you have an agenda, in light of Heller and common sense parsing, it seems reasonably clear to most intelligent people that the operative phrase of the 2nd amendment is "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." "A well-regulated militia" is used as a red herring by those whose agenda prevents them from recognizing the difference between a clearly-scoped right and its given reason.

That is definitely not MJ's ghost. If it were it wouldn't be walking forward, but rather moonkwalking backwards.

Hoax.
