"Taliban Chief Claims Responsibility for N.Y. Shooting Massacre."

Bullshit or not bullshit? I hate the guy either way, but I really can't tell.

Did he also order the guy to shoot himself at the end?

It's hard to remember this, but it was ordinary for any number of Muslim fascist outfits to claim responsibility for mass killings of all kinds.

I'm confused.

I thought Obama was going to talk to the Taliban.

Or at least I know there has been talk of talking to them.

This article reads like Bush was still in the WH.

Dont get me wrong.. I wellcome the news we are still at war with those who make war on us.

The Taliban work for the cable news networks now, as commercial audience facilitators.

Supposedly one of the national security breakdowns that ultimately led to 9/11 was our failure to connect the dots.

Well, I'll put two dots together.

Here you have the Taliban claiming they can still attack us here at home and there you have Obama closing down Gitmo and releasing Taliban detainees here at home.

Taliban Chief:

"Yep, that was me."

Police said they arrived within two minutes...

Police heard no gunfire after they arrived but waited for about an hour before entering the building to make sure it was safe for officers.

It's pretty unlikely that the Taliban is behind a Vietnamese immigrant murdering other immigrants at a social services center in a small New York town. This is a publicity stunt on the part of the Taliban to get into the headlines, and they know that there are some nervous and conspiracy-minded sectors of American society who are willing to believe such things.

The MO isn't Islamic. He would have blown himself up if it had been an Islamic incident. The profile doesn't fit in another way, too. This guy actually thought through the massacre: he parked his car behind the building to jam the door shut, for instance. Islam likes one big explosion of blood. That's their MO. This wasn't the way they do things. This was a nutty guy who had run amok due to some imagined slight: he felt that people were laughing about his poor English.

& maybe they were: but revenge for the embarrassment of his poor English was his apparent motive. He didn't like being laughed at. He was ridiculed at his job at Shop Vac, too, for his lousy English. I think he felt that the Center had not only failed to sufficiently integrate him into American society, but it had become a symbol of that, for him.

This fits with the Cho massacre at VT more closely than it fits with an Islamic style massacre.

Like Cho, Mr. Wong was a loner.

Agree that it is a publicity stunt, but the target audience is over there rather than here. They're trying to show the locals that they're hitting back and not just getting their asses kicked day after day by American drones. Once the locals decide the Taliban are losers, they're done for.

The gunman, singular, was from Vietnam. I sort of doubt that he did this in exchange for 72 raisins.

It looks like the US military has done such a good job of pounding these assholes into submission that the only way that they can attempt to remain relevant is to claim credit for mayhem that they have nothing to do with. It's pathetic.

Can't we just kill people who claim this kind of crap, true or not?

Capital douchebaggery?

America Is Always To Blame

Mr. Wong was a loner.
But Mr. Wong knew right from wrong.
Nevertheless Mr. Wong was driven mad by America
Where he could never get fermented peanut butter sauce that was strong...
Enough.

Nutbag islamist douchebags are hard to tell from other nutbags. The crazy fuck who ran over students on UNC campus was insane, homicidal and muslim. I think that is triply redundant.

I think Taliban Chief needs a Drone Visit.

Taliban Chief said "they were my men".

"They"? "Men"?

Wasn't there ONE gunman?

Hatred of the Taliban is healthy and good for the soul. They are a great people to hate as they have zero social redeeming value.

Just this past week they legalized domestic rape and men forceibly keeping their women indoors.

KCFleming said...

Dumb Mister Taliban, probably bananas
U.S. come and blow up me home

Come Mister Taliban, training all de Hamas
U.S. send more explosive drones

It's for domestic consumption. People in the tribal territories may believe it.

So basically that loser Bush beat the Taliban so badly that they are reduced to making pathetic claims.

And then Obama takes Europe by storm with his engaging and collaborative style. So not the Cowboy. Convincing them to commit large numbers of additional troops to Afghanistan. Oh wait - the only additional troops heading to Afghanistan would be Americans.

Hope yields no change...

Let's kill him anyway, just in case.

Yup. And isn't that telling. It does not matter so much whether Europe "likes" us, at least re the tangible things like added troop support in Afganistan.

Fen, et al,
The Euroweenies do not want to fight terrorism. They appease and have appeased terrorists for many years. They are the ones who pushed to give some, like the PLO original NGO status.

The Euroweenies always want someone else to fight the good fight. They just want to be left alone, in relative peace, sipping coffee at the cafe and making good strong socialist babies.

These batshit crazy bully boys are currently getting alot of negative blowback in Pakistan over a video of a young woman being publicly flogged for some alleged sin. They needed something to divert the masses, who have no idea of the facts of the Binghamton case.

Next time there's a three car pileup on I-95 it'll be their doing as well.

Well, it appears to have worked for them. Other than the balkan wars that accompanied the break-up of Yugoslavia and maybe the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 there has not been a real war in Europe in over sixty years. Within the boundaries of western Europe in particular the most restive spots you can point to are Ulster and the Basque region of northwestern Spain, but neither of those has ever really risen to the level of a full scale war.

The Taliban has to take credit for other people's atrocities because they are a bunch of thong wearing pussies who wax.

Pogo: Hands down!

Seen a picture of Baitullah? He doesn't like to be photographed, so he essentially wears a burka. A cross-dressing terrorist!

This claim of his deserves your "lameness" tag. I suppose he was also behind the estranged husband who shot up the nursing home here in NC.

Baitullah in burka.

Eli: Well, it appears to have worked for them.

You mean hiding behind America's skirts while biting at our ankles? Yes, its worked so far, but only because we desired a free Europe.

The crazy fuck who ran over students on UNC campus was insane, homicidal and muslim.

I think in mathematics they call that "overdetermined".

Peter V. Bella said...

Well, it appears to have worked for them.

Why yes it has. They give lip service to terrorism at the same time they provide safe havens for terrorists, or worse, refuse to turn over or extradite them.

They also refuse to cooperate in investigations of international terrorism.

Try researching the Achilles Lauro case as a prime example.

BINGHAMTON, New York - "No one was shot after police arrival, and none of the people who had been shot could have been saved, even if the police had walked in the door within [the] first minute," Mollen said. "The injuries were that severe."

Peter Hoh said...

I wonder if Baituallah Mehsud is going to take credit for this other shooting.
