I've seen that road before.

A day in the life of the greatest crossing-the-street photo-op on the face of the earth:

Via 10,000 Monkeys & a Camera.

Got it.. this is an otherwise "normal" day on the street from the famous Beatles Album?

Me!

Better there than 'Everest', the pack of cigs that almost inspired the cover photo they were too lazy to go and shoot...'Let's just go outside lads!'

I've seen that road before.

But still they lead me back to...

The Long and Winding Road

The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
Ive seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to you door

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way

Many times Ive been alone
And many times Ive cried
Any way youll never know
The many ways Ive tried

But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door

But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

When I go into work, I must drive down Sunset Blvd., through Beverly Hills.

There are two iconic Beverly Hills signs on the trip.

More often than not, there are people aggregated under the signs taking a picture.

The "P" sign (without a diagonal across it) indicates a place of public convenience in England.

It would have been much more interesting if some of those twits were deservedly run down by the traffic.

I would have done that. Who doesn't have silly posed photos with friends at touristy spots?

I was seized with an insanely strong urge to have ***mojitos*** with John Lennon two years ago...out of nowhere...

Alas....

Oh, I'd totally do that. I'd even play the (barefoot) role of Paul in my group of friends, weather permitting.
