Great photo at Drudge right now.

It says so much:

the election is razor close...

Huckabee faces a close shave in more ways than one...

and he needs close shaves to stave off his resemblance to Nixon...

Huckabee has a monobrow which he controls not with metrosexual waxing but manly straight-razoring...

Matt Drudge wants us to think about "Un Chien Andalou."

ADDED: Yes, and think about "Sweeney Todd" too.

AND: Uncle Jimbo, in the comments, convinces me that the razor is not being used between the eyebrows.

The Andalousian Dog ruined a date in 1959. Damn art films.

I bet Mark Fiore wishes he were holding that razor.

Sounds like Sarkozy's political closet! So French! So....(Insert Gallic shrug here.)

I have taken another lovair!

Ann,

It looks at first like the razor is shaving between his eyebrow, but note the other hand holding the cheek. It is perspective, the razor is in the air mid stroke while shaving the cheek. I love a good shave with hot towels and massage. Bliss.

Cordially,

Uncle J

Jimbo... you're right.

Well, they wanted you to be mean, and you start the year with the eyeball cutting scene from Le Chein Andalou! What's next, Ron Paul's campaign seen through the lens of the Saw movies? Please?

I wasn't being bad. I was being arty. I plan to art it up in 2008.

Why are right wingers like Ann consistently hung up on someone's appearance?

Yes, yes, the left never once made fun of Nixon's appearance, oh no, not them!

And "Chimpy McHalliburton?" Nope, not a thing about appearance there either!

given his recent "I hate attack ads... for instance take a look at this one I did about Romney!" implosion in front of reporters, I think an apt caption would be

watch as this man cuts his own throat...

Disgusting. You can see right up his nose.

And...he doesn't look like Nixon...Hucabuck looks like Gomer Pyle (Jim Nabors) without the astonishing singing voice.

Check out Hillary's false statement on Pakistan. Where is her experience now? How come this is not covered by MSM?

I always thought people compared the president to a monkey because he had the brain of a monkey. Are you saying he resembles a monkey? Well, now that I think about it-----

Nixon? I think he looks more like Kevin Spacey.

That photo gave me a jolt, but I did see Sweeney Todd last night.

More likely the reverse: people assume he's stupid because he's an atrocious public speaker. That says more about their intelligence than his.

Its a common pattern with the Left, they used it on Reagan too. I think they do it because they aren't intelligent enough to make a rational argument against his policies.

Ya think? well about 1/3 of the population agrees with you. Thats a lot of people.

Oh, great. Now the other candidates will need to have their pictures taken whilst being shaved.

Except John Edwards; he waxes. And HRC because she never waxes. Anything.

And Kucinich because, you know, the aliens stole his hair when he and Shirley McL "saw" a UFO.

One tall tale that emerged from Chien is that Dali invented a cocktail called the Negroni. I guess they needed something strong after working on the scene--you know what I'm talking about.

It's delicious. Try it: http://www.cocktailtimes.com/gin/negroni.shtml
