Hey everybody---

QUESTION: Do you like me better as Suzette, or Maxine?

"Suzette" allows me to get away with a little bit more, you know, say some of the things that dainty Maxine wouldn't dare.

Suzette is a big more caustic and craven than Maxine might be.

Think of her as your Suzette-in-Law.

Love,
Suzette/Maxine

Oh yes.

There's also "Precious" "Adorable" "Sweetness" and "Cutesy"

....for when I have to bring in the really big guns!

Love, Suzette/Maxine

Sometimes ya gotta employ the really heavy artillery.

I have several alter-egos for those types of moments.

Fondly,
Suzette/Maxine

Dr. Cornelia Wilbur: In accepting Peggy into her arms, Sybil began the deepest healing of her selves. In embracing Peggy, she embraced herself. In calming her, she was calming her own heart. As I watched her becoming mother to herself, I felt my own long motherhood ending. I released what I had held so long. I celebrated the beginning of her emancipation. I let go. Our work together lasted eleven years. Today, Sybil lives peacefully in a small college town where she's a professor of art. There's not enough time in the day for her to do everything she wants, but that time in every sense, is her own. She tells me she's happy. I know she's free.

An Affair to Remember, with Cary Grant

From Here To Eternity, with Burt Lancaster

The King and I, Yul Brenner

Tea and Sympathy....I forget.

If Althouse puts the picture that includes Burt Lancaster at the beach up on her blog, it would an obvious attempt at pandering.

But, how could she possibly let an opportunity go by?

Maxine staring at a stream of water flowing down the gutter in front of a seedy motel somewhere in Southern California:

Gollum: We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
Smeagol: No. Not master!
Gollum: Yes, precious, false! They will cheat you, hurt you, LIE.
Smeagol: Master is our friend!
Gollum: You don't have any friends; nobody likes you!
Smeagol: I'm not listening... I'm not listening...
Gollum: You're a liar and a thief.
Smeagol: No!
Gollum: *Murderer*.
Smeagol: Go away!
Gollum: "Go away?"
[Gollum laughs as Smeagol begins crying]
Smeagol: I hate you, I hate you.
Gollum: Where would you be without me, gollum, gollum? I saved us! It was me! We survived because of me!
Smeagol: [stops crying] Not anymore.
Gollum: What did you say?
Smeagol: Master looks after us now. We don't need you anymore.
Gollum: What?
Smeagol: Leave now, and never come back!
Gollum: No!
Smeagol: Leave now, and never come back!
[Gollum screams in frustration]
Smeagol: LEAVE! NOW! AND NEVER COME BACK!
[Gollum is silent]
Smeagol: [looks around] We told him to go away... and away he goes, Precious! Gone, gone, gone! Smeagol is free!

When taking your slice of Manhattan, be careful not to cut too deeply. The consequences, They Might Be Terrible.
