That's the secret?

I'm feeling some doubt.

He always struck me as a cute but hack actor with the usual narcissism and flake factor. I am not sure what his statements on any topic matter.

Perfunctory to-do-list sex. I don't remember Alex Comfort indexing that one. Sounds about as hot as sex with 72 virgins accompanied by their mothers.

He's absolutely correct. When each spouse considers the needs or feelings of the other as important to themselves, being selfless, the marriage is harmonious. They use lists to communicate.

From an early age, I'm sure Kelly Preston looked into a mirror and said, "No matter what else you can say about me, I'm not the kind of girl that my husband will have to remind himself to have sex with."

But life is full of surprises.

I say: Whatever works!

I know people for whom this approach works. For others, it wouldn't.

However people manage to say married (who want to stay married, of course), more power to them.

Interesting, the collection of posts that follow under the label "redirection."

Anyone else check that out?

They use lists to communicate. However you do it, communication is the key to successful marriage, especially communication that encourages you to think about the wants and needs of your spouse.

John Stodder: Thanks for the good laugh!

Reader_iam: Some people really enjoy telling others how to run their lives. They also enjoy defining what it is exactly that makes a good marriage (and ridiculing anything that does not appeal to them). These people lead such perfect lives of unremitting wedded bliss that they feel it is their moral obligation (and right) to render such public judgments with abandon.

Personally, I'm kinda superstitious. The moment I say something is working for me, it's bound to breakdown. I'd elaborate, except I've got to go wash my car.

Update: Oops we are under a tornado watch.
