They both are women.
I never heard of them. Does that make four?
Does it have anything to do with pants?
Dunn is toast.I loved this part: Ms. Dunn also said she never received a “formal legal opinion about the investigation.” She said that in the draft and final reports prepared by Mr. Hunsaker in 2006, he made it clear that all methods employed were legal and proper.Piro may certainly lose, but seems in less legal jepordy and with much more public sympathy.
This actually made me think of your comment the other day: "How people dress, the expressions on their face, the stance they adopt when they are in a particular situation -- all these things have meaning, and I intend to write about it." Today Patricia Dunn's hair looked different than the photo you link to. It might even have been a wig, as I've read that she's fought cancer in the past few years. Still when she was testifying, she looked really attractive. She's quite confident. It just made me think that here's someone who even under the most stressful--maybe even physically painful--circumstances would never let her shins show, so to speak. She's in total command, which is probably another reason why leaks would particularly irk her. Anyway, for me, this really did illustrate your point about appearances.
Irene: I'm glad it made you think of that. I'm making a point of delivering on my promise.
What do they have in common?Hurd and Cuomo are licking their chops at these women's predicaments.
I borrowed your idea.
They've never been in my kitchen...
People living in the NY Metro area have seen Jeanine Pirro on the local TV news for years, whenever there are high-profile indictments or the like. She’s always projected a sharp, tough, sexy image. Her husband Albert, on the other hand, seems like an irredeemable jerk. He fathered a child with another woman, and even though ex-cons are supposed to keep their noses clean, he can’t manage to stay out of traffic court while his wife is running for statewide office. From what I’ve read, Jeanine has stated fairly plainly that the only reason she’s staying with the creep is for the sake of their children. When I heard the story about Jeanine asking Bernard Kerik to bug Al’s boat, which she probably correctly assumed was his floating love-nest, I wondered if it would actually have a positive effect on her campaign. We don’t expect a hard-charging gal like Jeanine to just sit at the kitchen table with a box of Kleenex like the humiliated wife -- she takes action. But it probably wasn’t enough, or the right action anyway. If she’d asked Kerik to blow up Al’s boat, she’d definitely have my vote. And I’ll say one more thing about Al Pirro’s boat:It wasn’t the Mayflower, but a lot of women came across on it. [rim shot]
