Friday morning no less!

In the old days, those people would only be in those seats because that's as far as they got on their way home on Thursday night!

Seriously, there are few places as beautiful as the UW campus in the fall! I hope tomorrow's game has the same conditions.

There were lots of young people running and biking on the lake path too.

How can there be a middle picture if there are 4 of them?

Things you can't see in the picture: Everyone is sneezing 'cause the pollen count is so high!

What a picture of serenity! Where do the folks go in the winter?

All gorgeous!

My favorite, though, was the last one.

Oh Ann, this brings back such wonderful memories for me! My husband is a Badger, and I remember sitting on the Terrace on Friday evenings, drinking Old Style Dark (the only place in the US where you could buy it!) and listening to whatever band was playing.

My husband was also a member of Hoofers, and taught sailing - one of my fondest memories is sailing on Lake Mendota all night after the Commodores Ball. I slept on deck wrapped in a sail.

I hope that both our girls go to Madison - but whatever paths their lives take, I will always love my time in Madison.

This is why I read this blog. Ann drops an analytical bomb about breasts and their proximity to authority figures, and people whip themselves into a comment jihad, and yet, a click away, utter serenity.
