The top 10 ad icons.

From AdAge. (Via Drawn!) Wait! Where is Mr. Peanut? I can't accept this list!

Ann, Mr. Peanut is a good one; Joe Camel also comes to mind. The biggest surprise on the list, in my opinion, was Elise -- I only recall seeing it a couple of times. Is it a generational thing?

Honorable mention: the fictional "Mr. Butts," of Doonesbury fame!

Sippican, don't worry about The Mouse. The Mouse knows how to take care of bid-ness.

And technically, The Mouse isn't an ad icon, but a movie character. Maybe that will help you sleep.

WAAaaaaa and Goo Goo.

Where's the Gerber Baby, probably one of the most long running "icons" going. From the 1920's 'til now.
