You could crop the Hard Rock sign out and entitle this shot "Greetings from Zagreb."
There's no Hard Rock Cafe in Zagreb?
I can't believe that I can truthfully say this-- but Pittsburgh is much purdier.
I've been about four stories lower than where the picture was taken.
It puts me in mind of the old Randy Newman song about Cleveland, "Burn on!"
Well, welcome to Cleveland. If you go over the first high bridge to the south there, the Lorain-Carnegie bridge, and take it to W 25 St. on the other side, you'll be at the West Side Market. Unfortunately, the market's closed on Sundays. Across W. 25th from the Market is another street, and on that street is Great Lakes Brewing, and there's also a couple of more frou frou restaurants and a wi-fi equipped coffee shop there. Or there was the last time I looked. There's most likely coffee shops closer to your hotel too...I've always liked the restaurant/bar in the Ritz too (Century).

I'd say, it's like Toledo, only bigger.
It looks much nicer back in the other direction. On the side of the river where the hotel is, it's much more built-up. The hotel itself is very nice. I wouldn't have stopped over in Cleveland unless I felt sure the hotel would be really nice.
Now that I'm not there anymore, I'll say the hotel was the Ritz-Carlton.

I am in Zagreb now. I found the reference to Zagreb and Hardrock in a search.
Last night I ate at the Hard Rock Caffe ZAGREB. I had check the HRC website before travelling to learn there was no HRC here.... but I ate there and have the T-Shirt.
I think it is a knock off... they have their own web site but in Croatian.
The Heart of Rock'n Roll is in Zagreb!
Ah ha! Just as I thought!
